Chapter 175: Confrontation
Waking up in the clear morning light, Leng Le rubbed her eyes, then lazily stretched and yawned. Turning her head to look at Gu Fan lying next to her, she smiled at the sight of his sleeping face. Her guess was correct: although this was Gu Fan’s house, his territory, he had considered Su Hui living in the opposite room. Therefore, after he brought Leng Le back last night, although they were together, Gu Fan didn’t do anything.
Soon, Gu Fan also woke up. Seeing Leng Le next to him, despite the fact that nothing happened last night, seeing his loved one first thing in the morning put him in a pretty good mood. Thus, he gallantly offered to make Leng Le breakfast.
By the time an enthusiastic Gu Fan came downstairs, Su Hui was already eating breakfast. Seeing Gu Fan’s elated state, she was puzzled and asked, "What’s up, you look so happy, like you’ve found treasure."
"Ah, something like that," Gu Fan replied with a bashful grin.
Then Su Hui asked another question, "You came back very late last night, and there seemed to be two sets of footsteps. I think I also heard a woman’s voice. Did you bring her back to spend the night?"
"Uh..." Gu Fan didn’t know how to respond. Just then, Leng Le came down the stairs, her clothes intentionally disheveled and a hint of her shoulder peeking through, which led one to imagine what might’ve happened the night prior.
Leng Le chuckled, "Gu Fan, I want soy milk, doughnuts, flatbread, and meat buns for breakfast. Thanks in advance."
"Alright, I’m going out to buy it now," Gu Fan quickly said, picking up his phone and heading for the door. He felt a sense of unease: leaving these two women alone, who knows what might happen? But he couldn’t oppose Leng Le’s wishes.
Leng Le requested so many dishes and Gu Fan had to go out and buy them, especially in front of Su Hui. If he didn’t, it would certainly irk Leng Le. She might then wonder why Gu Fan wouldn’t get breakfast for his girlfriend. Was there another woman involved? Hence, Gu Fan was left with no choice but to head out.
Upon seeing Gu Fan leave, Leng Le chuckled in satisfaction. She walked over and sat in front of Su Hui, a proud and somewhat provocative look in her eyes.
There was an unmistakably ominous air about Leng Le. Su Hui detected it, but kept her composure, saying, "Gu Fan treats you so well. Whatever you want to eat, he immediately goes out to buy it for you."
