Hearing Charlotte Shaw say she’s almost at the doorstep, Isla Lane didn’t even ask why she was coming home; solely focused on retrieving her daughter-in-law, she hung up the phone, quickly getting up and walking out of the living room.
After having an unpleasant moment with Benjamin Shaw earlier on the road, Charlotte Shaw didn’t return home but drove straight to her parent’s place.
She came to talk about the matter, and before she even arrived, she received her mom’s call, whose intentions were identical to hers.
A few minutes later, she pulled up at the gate.
As the car came to a stop, Charlotte Shaw saw Isla Lane hurriedly coming out of the house. Noticing Charlotte was there, her mom’s stride became larger and faster.
