Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap

Chapter 1482: I Don’t Feel Wronged Being with You

Seeing Anthony’s instinctive action, Benjamin also shares the same feeling as Charlotte, but he doesn’t show it. He just quietly observes Anthony holding his sister.

"In that case, I won’t be polite anymore." Charlotte originally wanted to refuse to go together, but partly out of courtesy, she actually wanted to join them.

"Great! Let’s go."

Anthony’s sole focus is on dining with the Shaw siblings, without noticing the strange feelings his behavior elicits from the two brothers. He continues to hold Charlotte’s arm, not intending to let go.

"Alice! Let’s chat another day."

As Charlotte leaves, she waves to Alice Turner.

When Benjamin leaves, he merely glances at Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher without saying anything. He follows the other three out of Alice’s room.

"Alice! Thank you for earlier."

As soon as the four leave, Thomas pulls Alice into his embrace, feeling touched and excited by how she stood up for him.

His excitement renders him speechless, finding no words beyond gratitude.

Alice not only doesn’t push away the man holding her but also reaches out to hug him back, "You silly! Being so formal with me, are you treating me like an outsider?"

She raises her hand to pat the man’s back, expressing her dissatisfaction with his earlier thanks.

"I am indeed foolish." Thomas tightens his arms, holding her even closer.

Alice rests her chin on Thomas’s shoulder, staring blankly at the wall ahead as she speaks, "Thomas! Being with me has put you through hardships."

"What are you talking about? Who told you I’m suffering?" In a swift move, Thomas pushes Alice out of his embrace, although still holding her arms. He looks at her seriously, "Alice Turner! Being with you doesn’t make me feel wronged, not at all!"

After saying that, he leans in to bite her lips, "Don’t say such things again."

"Annoying! If you bite me again, I’ll pull out your teeth." Alice suddenly turns aggressive, yet the slight curve of her lips betrays her genuine emotion.

Thomas notices the curve of her lips, chuckling roguishly, "Take whatever you want from me, don’t be formal at all."

"I won’t be polite, big idiot!" Alice slyly smiles at Thomas, and as he gets distracted, she slips away from his grip, striding to the doorway, "Grab my bag and phone, I’ll go wait for the elevator."

After speaking, she’s already at the door, turning back to wave at him before walking out.

"Got it!"

Thomas affectionately glances at Alice leaving the room, bends to pick up her phone and bag from the sofa, and quickly follows her.

By the time he catches up, she’s already at the corridor’s corner, prompting him to quicken his pace.

Hearing movement behind her, Alice glances back to see Thomas, instinctively slowing her pace to wait for him.

Seeing Alice slow down, Thomas lengthens his strides, quickly catching up to her. Holding her bag in one hand, he takes her other hand as they enter the elevator.
