The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband

Chapter 300: Her only choice

Abrielle struggled to sit up on the ground while leaning against a tree trunk. Her body was covered with bruises and it hurt like hell.

The snapping sound of twigs echoed as Zoltana approached her. "Princess Abrielle," she heard the witch call. From a distance, she could hear Evelyn fighting. Something was wrong Abrielle. Zoltana had the answers.

Zoltana finally found Abrielle, who was weakly leaning against the tree trunk. She looked very feeble.

Abrielle’s head slowly turned to the source, she gritted her teeth due to the insufferable pain. "Zoltana," she slowly called. The other maid, who was equally bruised, ran up to the princess’s side to help her up. "Thank the goddess you are safe." She chimed.

Abrielle who was still disoriented, lips parted as she struggled to say. "What is going on Zoltana? This isn’t the plan."

"There had to be a change in plans due to the change in circumstances," Zoltana explained, yet Abrielle found this suspicious. Something was off. More footsteps approached but Abrielle wasn’t alarmed. They were hooded and stopped a few steps away from the princess and the witch. "We have to leave immediately. We can’t hold on for long." They urgently explained.

Abrielle nodded, and then the one who seemed to be the leader whistled. A horse neigh followed, and then two horses appeared. "This is our ride out," Zoltana explained.

Abrielle had difficulty moving in her dress, so Zoltana tore out the excess before helping her climb the horse. The witch mounted the same horse after her while the second one was mounted by one of her hooded figures.

"We will cover the torn fabric with blood and burn part of it. That way no one will suspect you had planned to kidnap yourself." The leader of the hooded figures explained while signalling one of them, who was serving as the princess’s guide, to leave.
