"Here’s the one for today." I said as I dropped a person down on the bar.
When I did, Vanessa came over with a wide smile before saying, "Conan, how long did it take you this time?"
Conan, that was the name of this avatar.
It was the name of a famous barbarian from my past, so it was perfect for this avatar.
"Ha, ha, ha, this one was quite the slippery fellow. If it wasn’t for my sharp nose, then I really wouldn’t have been able to find him."
"Oh, tell me all about it."
"Buy me a drink first and we’ll talk."
Vanessa was about to pour a drink for me, but she was stopped by her father, the owner of the bar.
"Reddick, are you so stingy that you won’t even offer me a drink?" I asked with a teasing smile.
"Sir Conan, it isn’t like that at all. It’s just that my daughter has no time to spend here when there’s still other customers to serve. I hope that you won’t mind this." The owner of the bar Reddick said with an apologetic smile.
