Chapter 49: Shaka the Butcher (1)
Since it was a named NPC that I was dealing with, I didn’t let myself be careless at all.
Since it was a named NPC, there was no doubt that it would be a hard fight.
Or it would be if I didn’t know what the weakness of this named NPC was.
I knew that there was an easier way to deal with this named NPC and the bandit group that he led. And since there was an easier way to deal with it, I would naturally make use of this easier method.
I might be the one that was destined to be the King of Barbarians one day, but that didn’t mean that I didn’t use my head.
In fact, being the king meant that I had to use my head more than others.
There were plenty of people that would be willing to backstab you in this wilderness, so one had to be careful of them.
So instead of heading out of the town right away, I went to pick up a few things.
After arriving in this town, the one thing that I did other than take bounties was create connections. The bar wasn’t just a place for me to get bounties, but also a place to build all kinds of connections with the people of this town.
After all, the best place to meet people was the place where everyone got drunk.
Life was hard, but alcohol made it easier.
