Chapter 158: Preparing The Guest Rooms
A small moan slipped through Annalise’s lips as she parted them slightly to allow Damien’s tongue to sweep inside her mouth as he deepened the kiss. She felt one of his hands moving over her shoulder before it came to rest on her nape as he angled her face to his heart’s desire and kissed her like there was nothing else existing in the world other than the two of them.
She was still in Kenric’s arms while her other husband was kissing her passionately and even though the kiss lasted only for quite a few long minutes, it was still more than enough to fill her entire body with a buzz that made her want to forget about everything else and only focus on the feeling of just how good the kiss made her feel.
When Damien finally pulled away to allow her to breathe, she was already feeling the loss and a protest was right on the tip of her tongue but somehow she succeeded in not showing too much of her inner emotions on her face, or at least that was what she thought before realization hit her.
She completely forgot that she shared a bond with Damien and was also linked with Kenric which meant that both the men were aware of exactly what she wanted.
And seeing the smirks on their faces, she immediately realized that she had been taken advantage of by both the dark lords. She suddenly found herself at a complete loss for words to say to either of them and her checks were alreadt turning bright red as she felt a little bit embarrassed.
So, instead of saying anything to them, she hastily pulled away from both men and started heading out of the parlor and toward the staircase leading to the upper floors. "We don’t have much time to waste. I need to get the guest rooms ready." She didn’t wait to hear their response and just ran toward her destination, not sparing even a single glance behind until she was already on the first floor.
She didn’t see either Kenric or Shadow following her which ultimately helped her in calming down a little bit. However, if she thought that she would be able to get away from them then it was nothing but her wishful thinking.
The very moment she ascended the stairs leading to the second floor and appeared at the entrance of the very first guest room, her gaze landed on the two men who were already inside the room, clearly waiting for her.
"You are finally here, let’s get started with the work because we don’t have enough time to waste." Kenric was clearly teasing her and it only made Annalise feel more embarrassed and she almost wanted to disappear for a while.
She chose to ignore the two men for the time being and focused her attention on the room that she had assigned to Ezra. Sera and Garron had already cleaned the entire second floor recently, so the room looked really neat and clean.
