Chapter 350: Poison In The Wine
"You!" It took a few seconds for Penny to realize what Nora meant. "But how could..’ she did not understand. Only she and Ethan knew that she was going to act as a waitress and mix poison in the wine. How did Nora know? And how did she plan all this?
"Ethan!" Penny gritted the word with venom in her voice. "That bastard!" Nora shook her head. She had no idea Ethan was included. She faintly remembered the man when he had visited their school to help Penny that night.
"Did you hear her? There is a man named Ethan who supported her. He had an equal part in the crime." Marion’s words stunned Penny again.
Nora did not know about Ethan? Then how did she know about her plans? She looked at Nora in bewilderment when Nora sighed.
"Are you not worried about your mother at all? You know why she ignored you on your birthday and came to meet me?" Nora asked with a sigh. Even if she hated all three of them, she still respects Sophia for caring so much about her selfish daughter.
Her obsession about the happiness of her own daughter had brought this demise on her. "She wanted to blackmail Jamie to do a contract marriage with you to clear your name. She wasn’t getting rid of you to save herself." Penny froze at her spot.
But then she shook her head. No! It was not her mistake. She meant nothing wrong.
"You killed her. You know that I have mixed poison in the wine. Yet you asked me to serve her." Penny spat and struggled again. She wanted to strangle this woman to death.
"You have mixed the poison so who knows about it better than you. Yet you poured the wine for your own mother and even let her drink it?" Nora raised a brow, disgusted by this girl. Why she had never realized that Penny was sick in her head. "I gave you a chance to save yourself and your mother. But you chose to poison her till the end. And yet you accuse me?" Noea wanted to laugh but she felt sick to her stomach.
