Nora stood in front of the dorms. The guard did not let her go in when she showed her identity card.
"Miss Stone, the warden is coming soon. Please wait patiently." he repeated when he noticed impatience on her face.
It had been half an hour already. Nora had thought that Miss Megan would come hurriedly when she heard about her. But she must have assumed wrong. The woman wanted to play further.
"Of course, I am not in a hurry at all. After all, you are doing your work and my actions might implicate you." she smiled sweetly at him and started playing with her phone again.
"..." the man was stunned. Has anyone ever thought about him ever in his job? He looked at Nora again. He was told that she had run away with a man in the middle of the night. He had a bad impression of her. But now, he felt like rumors were false. Even if she had run away, it must be the boy who had fooled her.
He felt bad for her and decided to give her some advice.
"Young girls, if they ask you to kneel or beg, do not hesitate. After all, you have a vast future ahead. A brave person should have the heart to accept their mistake. They would forgive you if they felt you had repented for your mistake."He spoke so seriously that Nora wanted to laugh. But she could feel his kindness in his words. So, she nodded seriously.
"Then.." before he could continue, Miss Megan came to the door. She did not stop the students from following her. Not only girls, but boys had come to follow her too.
In the past three days, she had been on pins and needles when she received the order from the Stone family. After all, Nora had failed her plans many times and she had already received a warning from the principal. But when she shouted curses for Nora in front of Victor and her other supporters, they did not react at all.
