Chapter 138: Lessons I Taught 2
Penny had dragged Ethan behind the stage. She did not care what others would think as she locked the door and then glared at the man.
"Though I am relieved that they did not pursue the matter of the footage. How did it change to mine?" Penny glared at Ethan with hatred. "And what kind of reaction was that! What if it had been Nora’s video? Would they have brushed it aside too? I have paid so much for all this just to end up in this mess. What should I do, not Ethan?" she cried and leaned on the man. Her eyes were hot with tears.
The man stiffened under her touch and she smirked. She knew what effect she had on this young boy. She felt his fingers on her waist and her smirk grew wider.
Ethan sighed!
"This is not the time to discuss all this. If you hide in this room for a long time, they will doubt you. It would be better if you return and explain the notes." though he said so, he did not let go of her waist.
Penny bit her lips. She looked so vulnerable that he felt bad for her.
"Penny!" he almost growled when the girl shuddered and rubbed herself against his body.
"I do not know. There were so many notes. You have solved all of them. And this humanities part is done by you. Even if I go on stage, I would not be able to explain them." she sniffled and covered her face with her hands. Her shoulders quivered making him sigh.
"You mean.. Penny! I thought you read the notes thoroughly today! How were you going to explain them in the first place?" He tried so hard to suppress his anger. If the plan failed, then Mr Stone would not make him a permanent staff member. His future depends on today’s plan.
