Penny stared at Nora the moment she entered the class bringing a sneer on Nora’s face. The girl tried hard not to show it but she was stealing glances with anticipation. Nora could not believe that she was oppressed by these people! If she had found a way to earn and separate herself from them in her past life. She shook her head. There was no point in thinking of the past. A bright future lay ahead. She walked to her desk and opened it to put her books but frowned. And then all at once her face went pale. When she took out her hand from the desk, it was soaking with blood.

"Shit! What is that Nora?" a few students beside her gasped and shouted. Nora looked horrified. She opened the desk and her face went ugly. She covered her mouth with her other hand and ran out of the class.

"Miss Nora! Where do you think you are going?" the teacher bumped into her and shouted. But the girl sniffled loudly and ran away.

"What is happening in the class?" Miss Harper frowned as she noticed a group standing in front of Nora’s seat.

They all looked at each other. In the end, a boy replied.

"Someone had placed a dead rat on her desk. She touched it and then ran away." Miss Harper’s face went dark instantly.

"How funny! Your art of making jokes is improving day by day." but she did not know who did it, so she could not continue scolding. "Forget it! Call for help and let them clean. All of you take out your assignments, and bring them to my desk. Those who failed will take extra classes this weekend."

Penny lowered her head. Finally a smirk forming on her lips. She was too stunned for a second but then... that new girl is rather powerful. She stealthily took out her phone and sent a message to her new friend.
