Chapter 123: The Devil Is Interested.
"It has been three days!" Nora mumbled as she made circles in her notebook. Her face looked pale. Victor’s pen paused on the paper. He looked at the girl with worry.
Though she had not whispered a single word, anyone would be worried. From the dead rats to ink in water, from torn notebooks to stolen purses, everything was damaged around her. Someone was targeting her and he was doing it very stealthily. Even when teachers tried to look into the matter and the cameras were checked, nothing suspicious was found.
"How about we complain to the police?" Nora blinked and stared at Victor in confusion. She could not complain against Damon even if she wanted to.
That day, he had disconnected the call without accepting and rejecting. She tried again but he did not pick up this time. She could do nothing but wait. How she wanted to go there and confront him but she still felt at risk in that. What if it was a trap for her!
"I know simple quibbles can not be complained about. But someone is stalking you. If we convince, the police will look into the matter." he looked at her gloomily.
"Aah! No! This is just a joke. You should not take it seriously!" joke! Victor was stunned.
"Nora!" He wanted to curse. But restrained himself.
"We are going to work tomorrow and I will ask my father for advice. I am sure he would have a better solution since following you or coming early to the class is not working." Nora paused. He was coming early for the class to find the culprit? She looked at him with a complex gaze.
This is becoming a burden now. She did not want to owe anyone even if the person could not help her in the end.
