"....." Nora’s blood went cold. She knew he was only teasing her. But the emotions in his eyes were not a lie. He wanted her. He wanted her to be his! He was kind, caring and though he had a temper, he never showed it to her. But she was only lying to him. Their castle of their relationship was made of sand.
Nora rolled her eyes with her heart in her throat.
"I will choose you if you will be worth my love." his brows furrowed and he looked at her with narrowed eyes.
"And what does it mean?" her heart clenched but she ignored it. It was for his good.
"When you would be a responsible person. You would win scholarships, study hard and stand on your feet. I will only marry someone who is strong, capable but still kind to me." she boosted, patting her chest when he chuckled.
"Hey! I was only asking you to be my girlfriend. Where did this marriage come from? What is going on in your small head?" she glared at him? He was not proposing to her? But then again they were just seventeen. He might only be interested in her.
"Tch! And here I thought that you were serious." she shook her head. "I am exhausted. Wake me up when we reach dorms." Nora closed her eyes. She was beyond exhausted and sleep easily enveloped her.
Only then Alex turned to look at her again. His breath stirred and his eyes dark with lust.
