Chapter 120: Be One
"Tch! Such possessiveness!" the man mocked but did not continue. "You have won the race again. This is your prize. If you participate against phantom, I will reward you well." Nora closed the door behind her.
She had seen what she wanted to and heard more than required. When others noticed that she held the door for long but did not enter, their interest died.
Nora glared at the twins menacingly only to see a sneer on their face.
"Tch! She only had to use her brains at this moment." they shook their heads. Nora held her stomach and looked pale. Alex returned in a few minutes. His eyes searched for her at once.
"I want to go to the washroom. But they told me.. Forget it, where is one?" Alex had heard footsteps and felt her presence at the door. He was about to question her. But her complaint explained what had happened.
He looked at the twins who appeared to be busy suddenly and sighed.
"Come, I will take you." he waited at the door as Nora did her business. Once she was out, she looked much better.
"Alex, can we ever have a simple meal while sitting in a quiet place?" Alex blinked. He was not expecting her to ask for it. Simple! Once he longed for those things too. Her family ruined it all for him.
"How about we go to eat ramen?" she ignored his long face and continued. She had to find a way to check that packet. She was sure it was not money.
