Chapter 37: Not Their Daughter
"Of course I would take her back home. She would only attend day classes like other students. I will not dare to ask you to let her stay in the dormitory and attend extra classes too."
He waited for the principal to say something but the man did not reply. He kept staring at Nora, increasing their uneasiness. Why? Why was he staring at her like that?
Her aunt started, "principal Kai, our kids are studying here from the start. If not for her, then for our sake, I beg of you to let her finish her studies here. I know that she has made a huge mistake but I will guide her and she will not create any trouble in her last year."
They both were begging to gain forgiveness for her when she did not speak. It looked like they were anxious about her studies on the surface, but the truth was they were pinning the blame on her.
"Nora, are you going to stand there like a strait? I know that you are scared now. But you have to come forward and take responsibility for your actions now. Go and beg the principal to let you stay in the school now."
Nora did not reply, she looked at the dormitory teacher as she smiled at Penny and Penny slightly nodded her head and her eyes narrowed at that.
She had always wondered how Penny was able to possess a good dormitory room despite her barely passable record qualifying for the dorm. Yet she was living with the best students. So she had someone to back her up.
"Leonora Stone, do you want to say something or shall we end this case now?"
Only then did Nora smile. She had a gentle smile in her eyes that she did not lose even for a second despite being facing serious allegations,
