Return Of The Heiress For Revenge

Chapter 36: Let Me Down Slowly

"Leonora, you have been called to the principal’s office." a peon working for the administration building called in a stern and detached voice when Nora was walking back to her room. She softly smiled and nodded her head. Without a word, she followed the man who sighed. If only she knew why she was taken there! The girl was truly clueless. The man sighed in his heart as he knew the drama waiting for her.

But the moment he turned, Nora’s face was cold. The desire to take revenge was getting stronger day by day.

She was following the news closely. Her uncle had suffered a big loss in the company because Benard refused to help him financially. Not only that, all dirt had been coming forward for her aunt. From the time that she had tried to kill her niece in the hospital to how her niece was given poison by a stranger who posed at the nurse in the hospital. Though there was no name attached to it, people can assume well given the above information.

But her uncle was taking down every piece of news an hour or two after it was getting posted online. No big newspaper had still taken interest in that news.

"Slow.. but success." she muttered to herself, surprising the peon as they stopped in front of the principal’s office.

"Little girl let me tell you, do not beg for forgiveness. Mr Kai is not fond of begging and does not believe in forgiving if you are not guilty. It would be better that you behave like a responsible person and shoulder your mistakes. Good luck." The kind peon smiled at her because the girl did not look like a culprit.

He knew that looks could be deceiving but there was something in the girl which made him act on impulse. Otherwise he had always kept his silence and stayed away from the dramas happening in the office.

The girl blinked as if she was not expecting him to speak. And then to his surprise, she bowed her head.

"Thank you, I am grateful for your helpful advice." with a smile so elegant, so calm that it could only belong to a matured person who had crossed thirties, she entered the room. Her back was straight like a soldier and her eyes were clear like a goddess.

"May I come in, sir." her voice rang in the silent room.
