Chapter 268: Filomena
Initially, Fil’s mind was a little fuzzy with the sudden pain in her head. But now that she continued her discussion with Jackson, everything slowly became clear.
This already happened, or perhaps she had seen this happen. This exact same conversation and even Jackson’s actions were the same. Fil would never mistake this.
"Jack... I think something’s wrong with me."
Worried, Jackson quickly rose from his seat and came to her side. "What’s wrong?"
"I... don’t know," she said in confusion, gazing up at him. "But I think I just had a deja vu, a very distinct and clear one. If not, then I probably just return in time — I don’t know, but this already happened."
Deja vu?
"Okay, Fil." Jackson dragged the chair near her and sat down. "You’re scaring me a bit. What do you mean?"
Fil felt another headache, but she took a deep breath. Jackson held her hand to keep them from shaking. She seemed very scared and confused, and he knew these emotions weren’t from unfounded reasons.
"I just now..." Fil pinched the bridge of her nose, fighting the pain striking her head. She endured it and looked up at him. Holding his hand, she spoke solemnly and clearly.
"Jack, I just saw... Michael die," she sounded like she was cursing Michael, but Fil had to say it. "I called him today, and we decided to meet. I asked for your permission and then you agreed, telling me what you just told me."
"The next day, I tagged along with Kenzo and Elise. We even talked about these weird things and then they dropped me off at the restaurant. While I was waiting for Michael, a truck suddenly..." Fil paused as she covered her lips, unable to stop herself from remembering the pain she felt. "A truck suddenly ran him over... and I had to watch him die."
