Chapter 269: This was your groom?
Despite Fil’s reluctance, she didn’t cancel her arrangements with Michael. But instead of meeting him alone, Jackson went with her. She trusted Jackson and whatever he wanted to know, she knew he would explain it to her.
Moreover, Fil was also curious to know if the visions she saw would happen.
Canceling her plans with Kenzo and Elise, Fil tagged along with Jackson. When they reached the meeting place, Fil clasped her hand as she stared at the entrance.
Jackson quietly observed her from the side.
"The people..." she whispered, remembering some of the faces inside the restaurant. "... that’s him."
Jackson raised a brow as he shifted his eyes in the direction she was looking. His eyes landed on a man casually talking to a small group. He could tell the group was here for a casual meet up.
"He’s the doctor," she muttered.
This was the man who tried to help Michael in her visions. He was the one she begged to help Michael. She could remember him well because her focus was on begging for help and Michael.
"Let’s get in."
Fil glanced at Jackson and nodded.
The two of them entered the establishment. Her steps were a little slow as her eyes fell on the corner spot she sat on in her visions. Fil pursed her lips and approached it, sitting in the same spot where she sat down.
