Chapter 505: The Warehouse
Li Xueman drove past the city limit towards the warehouse, using the map services in her phone using the location mentioned by that ruffian. Lu Yuanjun said he was fifteen minutes behind her and she was confident to face whatever waiting for her.
As she entered the compound, she could see it being guard by more than twenty thugs and she worried for Yuanjun. He cannot single-handedly handle all these thugs. Before she could send a warning text to Yuanjun, one of those thugs knocked the glass in her window and Xueman got down the car keeping the phone in her purse.
With two big, burly men guarding her, she was brought inside the warehouse. The warehouse was filled with dust and cobwebs and cardboard boxes stacked to the side, like one would see in certain B-grade movies where the villain would kidnap the heroine to.
And oddly, as she expected, Weiye was tied to a classic metal foldable chair with her hands behind her back and cloth stuffed in her mouth, under a single light bulb hanging over her head and... It was swaying eeriely.
Eh... Why does this feels like a movie set?
And just like in movies, Weiye’s hair, her makeup... everything was fine. Even her lipstick wasn’t smudged.
Okay! What am I supposed to do now? Should I look for the boss of the gang clad in black leather apparel?
"Let my sister go! Or else... "
Li Xueman went with the flow and said waving her fist. The generic dialogue made her want to laugh but she held her laughter.

" Did you bring what we ask for?" a man appeared from the dark, wearing leather and chains hanging all over him and that made a tinkling noise as he walked.
" Here..." she threw a stack of money by his feet, "Now let my sister go! " she commanded.
