Chapter 504: Their Fight and Plans
Days passed and as Lu Yuanjun expected, Li Xueman’s mother and sister had no intention of leaving. Yuanjun who was patient for a month talked to Xueman about it and it seemed like she still hadn’t reached to a decision. As they sat on a rock on the cliff with the separated cliff in front of them, watching the sunset, Yuanjun looked at Xueman, sitting beside him and gently massaged her shoulders.
News about her involvement with the fourth young master of the Lu Family got out and the Li Enterprises’ situation have gotten better.
But there was still a frown between her brows. After that night she spent with him, he never stayed with her again and they only go on dates outside and he’d drop her in her house afterwards. He didn’t bring up their wedding again too. She knew it was because he didn’t want to be in the same place as Weiye but still she couldn’t come to a decision. The situation in her home was now worse with her mother always blaming her for taking the chance for a better life for Weiye. She really didn’t want to deal with her mother and wanted her out of the house but with the Gao businesses failing, she didn’t want to throw her mother to the curb.
Also she felt like they are planning something and wanted to keep a close eye on them. Weiye always was talking secretly to someone and Xueman felt something was weird.
"I’m still jobless..." he said wrapping his arms around her neck while holding her from behind and she chuckled.
"Become the CEO of the Li Enterprises. For now there won’t be a good pay, but you can earn a lot in the near future," she leaned on his firm chest.
"But I want to be your secretary," he nibbled on her ears as his hands slipped inside her shirt. She could only moan as his lips captured hers and both of them hugged closer as they kissed.
"Stay with me tonight, Yuanjun," she said in a pleading tone. Her hair was dishevelled by the strong sea breeze and her face was flushed by the kisses they shared.
"No," he said firmly and the mood between them get spoiled as he stood up. He didn’t want to be in the same place as Weiye.
"If you agree, the construction here can be started. The people from Tian Feng Real Estates will keep everything secret, making the employees sign an NDA..." he held out his hand to help her up but seeing her in deep thoughts he sighed.
