Chapter 247: I’m Not Leaving (4)
They are all shameless fellows. Carolline Ruiz really chose her friends poorly, very poorly.
Carolline didn’t bother replying to her anymore. She assumed that there shouldn’t be any serious problem based on her cheerful tone, so she was relieved.
"Let’s find a place to eat. Axel, what do you want to eat?" Knowing that Carolline wouldn’t refuse, Bryan Cooper asked Axel for his opinion directly.
"Can we eat at KFC or McDonald’s?" Axel asked quietly. As soon as the words left his mouth, Carolline shot a look at him. Axel immediately pouted, "How about a steak house, is that okay?"
This statement was obviously a challenge to Carolline. Although she wasn’t very strict with him in other aspects, she was quite principled when it came to eating junk food. Some families allowed it once a week, but not theirs. Sometimes they wouldn’t eat it even once a month.
Although Axel knew that eating fast food was not good, he was just a child after all. Once he had tasted it, he couldn’t resist it, and his self-control was limited. Whenever he could make a request during holidays, he would ask for junk food.
Although Carolline was not satisfied, she wouldn’t oppose it. After all, they didn’t eat it often, and she knew that children loved it.
However, it was absolutely impossible today. Axel knew it himself. He just went to the zoo with his grandparents the other day and had some then. It had only been a few days, and he was craving it again. How could Carolline not glare at him?
It was reasonable. It was just that today was special for him as it was his first time meeting his father. But to Carolline, it wasn’t so special.
