Carolline shook her head secretly, thinking that her foolish son and Bryan Hawkins had totally different ideas on Western food; Bryan was treating them to G City’s finest Western restaurant, where the bill would likely reach at least ten thousand.
As a nurse with a monthly income of three or four thousand, she would never dare to indulge in such lavish spending. It was different for Bryan, currently the wealthiest man in G City. Be it tens of thousands or even millions, Bryan would be more than happy to pay as long as Axel was happy.
Thus, Carolline no longer worried about the cost.
As they walked side by side, Bryan Hawkins thought Carolline spoke too little. While he and his son communicated quite happily, it seemed that Carolline was too lazy to even say a word with him.
Thinking of this, Bryan turned to look at Carolline. If he hadn’t noticed her reddening ears, he would have thought she hadn’t been listening to his and his son’s conversation.
Carolline’s red ears meant she was shy, so he didn’t get hung up on whether she talked to them or not.
A greeter lady led their family into the restaurant, as Bryan asked for a private room.
Once they were all seated, a waitress came over and handed the menu to Bryan Hawkins, "Mr. Hawkins--"
It was an honor for their Western restaurant to have such a well-known celebrity from G City visit after many years. Staff at prestigious service establishments were well acquainted with Bryan.
"Carolline, why don’t you order?" Bryan tried to hand the menu over to her.
