He tapped the red string a couple dozen times, sending out notes of all different elements toward the chieftain.
And yet, it didn’t take a genius to figure out that none of his notes were landing.
On Zafira’s end, she was simply destroying each and every piece of debris that approached them.
Even so, they were sitting ducks.
Therefore, Rael decided to improvise a little, so he tapped the black string.
The debris which had been flying toward them relentlessly suddenly lost control, and the moment it did, Rael saw the chieftain looking at him in particular with a frown.
“That is some disgusting magic you’re using, young man,” Chieftain Jin remarked. “But I’ll forgive you this once.”
“Right, thanks for your gracious forgiveness,” Rael replied with a scoff, and in the next moment, sent out a dozen red string attacks.
They formed a melody of colors as the notes all joined in the air and headed for the chieftain.
For once, the chieftain didn’t react, only stood there with a smirk on his face.
Then, to Rael’s surprise, the chieftain took the hit like a champ. And yet, he wasn’t dead, if anything, he didn’t even look injured.
