Chieftain Jin stared at the two of them for a few moments before letting out a chuckle.
He went back to where he initially sat and then gestured for Nyzzara to approach.
She seemed puzzled, but approached and sat beside the chieftain.
“Nyzzara, my dear daughter, what do you think of this man?” Chieftain Jin asked, and the moment he did, Rael’s brows twitched.
I had a hunch… but what is up with their family if none of them even look remotely close to one another?
Despite that, Nyzzara paused in thought before turning to Rael.
“I’d say he’s definitely strong. But he’s also a manipulative man,” she explained. “When we first met, he exploded a stable, and then sent a decoy to inform us of our ancient axe, which was supposedly hidden in Aztera.”
Well… this is not the best start, Rael thought with a frown. But maybe it gets better?
“Then he literally invaded my mind. Of course, his deal was too good to pass up, so I took it. Worst-case scenario, we continue starving. Best case? All our problems are solved.”
As much as Rael wanted to see the light at the end of the tunnel, it seemed like the only positive thing she had said about him was that he was strong.
Nonetheless, she finished with the hunt.
