Chapter 807 - 807: Tragedy

One hour later,
Jeremy Night was standing in front of the association. He had failed to complete the mission. It would add negative marks to his report.
He sighed inwardly. It was something unavoidable. It was already great to have escaped from the wind wolves.
Jeremy shook his head before going inside. He looked around before heading to the mission hall. He saw that the hall was filled with a few people.
There are only a few Beast Tamers entering the wilderness each day. He came to the desk and told the staff about his mission.
After learning he failed to complete the simple mission, the staff looked at him from top to bottom.
Jeremy understood the meaning, but he couldn't reveal the exact reason.
"Negative marks have been added to your report. You can lift the negative marks by completing higher-level missions in the future," the male staff member said.
Hearing that, Jeremy nodded his head. He knew about it. When the process was completed, he left the place. He came outside the Beast Taming Association building.
He swept his gaze across the area. He still needed to dispose of those corrupted beasts' corpses. He decided to sell the corpses to another store.
He knew of a small store within walking distance from there. He started walking along the footpath. He walked past the pedestrians.
Suddenly, he felt a piercing sensation on his back.
Jeremy raised his eyebrows. He was familiar with the feeling. Someone was targeting him.
"No, there are multiple gazes," Jeremy thought.
He didn't react and continued walking along the path. Soon, he reached the Beast Taming Store.
He walked inside the shop. No one was inside. He saw an old man behind the desk. He seemed to be the shop owner.
He started talking to the old man.
Outside,
The Beast Tamers who stalked Jeremy Night were none other than the spies of the Darkshade members.
Team Leader Dominic and the team members had somehow survived the beast tide. Dominic is a Tier-6 Beast Tamer.
He and his lifeline beast were able to turn the tide that day. But Dominic was in a bad mood. He had failed to complete the mission.
The target, Jeremy Night, had returned to the city before they escaped from the beast tide that day.
One of the men called and informed Dominic.
"Good, don't lose him. Watch his movements and continue to update me," Dominic gave the order.
The six men were positioned in different spots. If others saw them, they wouldn't notice anything different, because they looked similar to the local people with middle-aged appearances.
No one would find it doubtful.
Inside the shop, Jeremy made a deal with the old man.
The old man was not interested in the wild boar corpse, but he was shocked to see the corpses of the wind wolves. The wind wolves are Tier-4 beasts.
The old man planned to earn more money by selling them through other channels.
"Ha… Ha… Ha…," the old man let out a wild laugh.
"I'm happy. How about 50,000 credit points?" the old man asked.
Hearing that, Jeremy was happy. He agreed to the deal.
A few minutes later,
He walked out after the credit points were added to his account.
Just as he thought about returning to the organization, he once again felt the piercing gaze. He knew that piercing gaze was probing.
Jeremy knew that these people wouldn't dare to do anything here, so he continued walking towards the cab platform.
Since he knew who could be behind the spies, he was not interested in confronting them.
At the end of the pedestrian road, he came across the cabs. Many of them had departed from the place.
He saw one of the drivers waiting for a customer. He approached the driver.
He spoke to him before entering the cab. He sat down in the back seat.

The cab departed from the place. The prying gazes stopped. Jeremy smiled.
He knew the spies would definitely report back to the Darkshade members. But they didn't know that he wasn't going to the wilderness for the time being.
A serious glint appeared in his eyes.
I don't know the situation at the border, but day by day the situation is getting worse. The feeling of uneasiness hasn't gone away.
On the other hand, Dominic heard the news. He was disappointed. He had thought the target accepted a new mission.
They had hoped for a chance to enter the wilderness to eliminate the target.
But nothing like that had happened. Dominic told his men to continue keeping an eye on Jeremy Night. Then he ended the call.
The cab moved through the air, following behind the other cars.
Jeremy Night watched the outside scene through the window. He saw how other cars were paused in the airplanes.
Right then, a big vehicle from behind charged at their vehicle all of a sudden.
Jeremy, who was in the car, felt a sense of crisis all of a sudden. He was stunned. Before he could realize it, his senses screamed at him.
He felt the crisis coming from behind. He turned around and saw a massive truck a few meters away, about to crash into them.
Swoosh!
Jeremy leaped forward. He collided with the front window before breaking out through it.
The cab driver was stunned.
Boom!
The next second, the heavy truck collided with the cab from behind.
The collision smashed the car. The driver in the front seat was hit hard. The smashed car was thrown from the lane.
Under the shocking gaze of everyone, the smashed car landed on the ground.

Flames enveloped the car the next moment.
Jeremy Night was shocked. He could tell that the driver was dead.
A sharp glint appeared in his eyes.
Jeremy turned around and saw that the massive truck was still behind him. The driver tried to flee. If he fled, the truck would land on the ground.
A cold glint appeared in his eyes.
Jeremy then started charging at the person. He wanted to catch the culprit. Otherwise, the death of the driver would be left without justice.
