VALENCIA’S POV
’Val, are you sure about this?’ Aurora asked me before she furrowed her brows.
’Why does it feel like I am asking you this question more than half of the time?’ She asked me, and I shrugged.
How would I know why she keeps on asking me if I am sure about something or not when she knows if I am here, I am definitely doing it?
I hid behind the tree, bending down into the bush as I looked at the Alpha pack, wanting to see what he was up to tonight.
’You are not really curious about him. We clearly heard that he and his team aren’t going to be in the pack tonight. They are looking for some kind of evidence for some kind of act,’ Aurora said, her words making me feel caught already.
Well, she really had me here. It was true.
The reason I was here was because I knew Maverick wasn’t going to be here.
I sighed and looked around, pouncing on another spot once the guards moved from their position. My cat’s sense and flexibility really work out perfectly these days.
