Chapter 108: Brother’s feud
ALPHA MAVERICK’S POV
"Get them from the north side. I am staying here. You guys go on the south side. Make sure they don’t leave using the lake as their leeway," I looked at my team, who nodded their heads.
’Sir, we won’t leave even a single one of them,’ One of the Soldiers said, and I glared at him.
’This is an official mission, and I am not going to tolerate any stupidity. If I saw anyone flowing with their emotions and not sticking to the plan, I would kill them first. I know you guys are angry, I am too, but if you want to kill every single one of them, we need to do it strategically.’ I told the soldiers who immediately nodded at me.
Who was I kidding?
I was seething myself, and the thought of attacking their base single-handedly was taking over me again and again, but this wasn’t the same as our other fights with the rogues.
I didn’t want any single one of them who was involved in that heinous crime to run away. I will show them what death is and what it feels like to suffer the torture they put that little kid through.
I know my eyes were turning darker as Reaper was starting to influence my thoughts and my alpha power was coursing through my veins.
"Go," I nodded at my team who immediately started to spread through the entire area.
I saw one of my team members stepping on what looked like an alarm that was hidden under the dried leaves and his gaze met mine.
"Now!" I shouted through the mind-link as the loud sound blared throughout the forest, alerting the rogues probably. Everyone in my team used their werewolf speed to reach their position as quickly as possible.
