Chapter 15: Illusion
ONE YEAR LATER,
Beatrix groaned loudly in her pillow as the sun rays hit her eyes out of the blue mercilessly.
"Wakey....wakeyy...." A voice cooed and Beatrix let out a series of incoherent sounds. Wanting the annoying voice to shut up.
"Come on Princess, wake up. You don’t want to keep your handsome prince waiting."
Beatrix rolled on the bed to face away from such brutality so early in the morning. Covering her head with her blanket.
The blanket was yanked away from her, and Beatrix whined, "Leave me alone." She bemoaned covering her head with the pillow.
"Time for the gym Bey. You don’t want to keep Matteo waiting do you? He seems pretty piss this morning-"
Beatrix abruptly woke up when she heard the name of her elder brother. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and saw Ares, the youngest of the Quinn’s brothers smirking at her.
"I’m hurt that you fear Matteo more than me. Even his name can wake you up."
