Chapter 16: Family
Putting on the gym outfit and her sneakers. She walked out of her bedroom to the gym.
"Good morning sunshine." Her father was the first to greet her when she entered. He pressed a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Good morning papa. How are you?" Beatrix said and smiled softly at her father.
"Better now that you’re here." Beatrix nodded.
She glanced around and saw her brothers standing around in a daze. They seemed to have something on their mind. Even the usual and playful Ares had his brows arched and fist clenched as if he was having an internal turmoil.
Without even sparing a glance at her, he walked past her and left their family gym room.
"O-okay? What is going on? You look like you want to murder someone." She let out a chuckle and rubbed the nape of her neck. The testosterone radiating in the room was deadly.
Remo opened and closed his pocket knife, his face blank. He was really the emotionless one among the siblings.
She knew watching your mom being murder in front of you messed you up so she didn’t blame him. He showed her affection in his own way.
Braiding her hair for her when she was little and buying her a piano to accompany her when she was lonely.
"Because we really want to murder someone Beatrix." He said flatly in a bored tone but the familiar murderous glint in his eyes told her others.
