"RUN!" He shouted but the laughter in his voice could be heard.
Adrenaline kicked into Beatrix’s veins as she found her legs trying to keep up with his outstretched sprints.
She was petrified and excited all at the same time, and Rhys holding her hand was the only thing keeping her sane.
When they were a couple hundred meters away from the lighters, Rhys abruptly stopped, making her crash into his stone hard chest. He held her there protectively, his warm arms encircling her."
"Look, love." He said and pointed at the sky.
Reluctantly, Beatrix tore her eyes away from his piercing gaze... and watched the explosives ignite.
One by one, lighters of all colours and sizes lit up the night sky with a bang.
She couldn’t will herself to blink, not wanting to miss second of the most incredible scenery she had ever witnessed.
