Chapter 20: I Don’t Race.
"Hello, who is this ?" A beautiful voice came from the other side just as Lukas received the phone call.
"This is Lukas, you gave me the number yesterday. I just bought a phone, so I thought I'd call you first to ask how you are doing." Lukas asked as he gave her lots of cash to help her out.
" Lukas? I remember you. Yes, everything was fine. I buried my mother in her hometown. I would stay here tonight and come back tomorrow, so can we meet tomorrow.?" Annie asked sweetly; she was really grateful towards Lukas, who, like an angel, gave her money so she could give her mother a final burial, which she deserves.
"We can meet tomorrow for sure, but after classes, it ends at 4," Lukas said. He doesn't want to miss out on the classes, which are teaching him a great deal. He thought he knew many things, but there is room for improvement for him.
" Oh! Alright, it's a date then. Where do we meet? " Annie asked, her voice was a little cheerful.
" Well, I don't know. You know Nassau Inn?" Lukas asked, as in his last life he was not wealthy enough to afford something better, and Nassau Inn was very close to the college.
"Of course, I'll be there at four thirty." Annie asked, she giggled a little when she heard about a local inn.
"Okay, done. I'll be there." Lukas saying this ended the call and drove towards his next destination, Radioshock Store, to get a laptop.
A laptop would make his life very interesting, and it will help out on many things. He was actually very addicted to his iPhone 15.
