Chapter 21: DoT-Com Bubble.
Reaching the dormitory, Lukas parked his car, then took the two boxes and went upstairs. Putting the two boxes down in his room, he emptied his backpack and took it downstairs because there was a huge pile of cash inside his car.
Reaching the car, he checked the corners of where he stood to check if there were any security cameras in there, and seeing there were none, he sighed with relief, but he still wouldn't take any risks with such a huge pile of cash online.
First comes my life, if someone gets to know I hold such an amount of cash in hand or in that broken dormitory, they'll kill me first and take the money later.
Lukas was thinking realistically, people won't think twice about murdering if they see a million dollars in cash, so Lukas plans to deposit the whole amount in the bank tomorrow as early as possible.
Lukas then needed to come twice to get the whole thing, his clothes rack looked overloaded with clothes as he hid the money under the clothes. Although he was uncomfortable with so much money in his room, he decided to sleep it through.
The next day, he woke up, and the first thing he did was to look at the huge rack, which was piled with cash, and that cash was under lots of clothes.
Slept peacefully, now it's time to go and do some exercise and skip the first class to deposit the money.
As Lukas was about to go out, he sighed, then came back in and looked at the time on his phone, which was showing twelve at night. He then remembered this phone was not automatically calibrated, unlike the new phones that will come.
Then he looked at the clock on his table, it was three in the morning, and he apparently got up too early.
