Chapter 269: Awkward Meet-Up
"Hey Stop drinking already. You can’t afford to have a hangover tomorrow during my concert," Athena snatched the bottle of beer from Lanny’s hand.
Lanny pouted his lips, putting on a pitiful face. Athena could only laugh seeing her expression.
"Oh, girl. Tell me. What is this all about? Why are you sulking here?"
Lanny heaved a frustrated sigh. "I just can’t believe that your brother is giving Alice a second chance. Does he love her so much?"
Athena smiled at her teasingly. "Hey. Are you jealous?"
"Of course NOT!" Lanny denied it. But Athena didn’t believe her words.
"Your actions contradict your words. Haha. If you don’t want them to reconcile and be together again, then why don’t you just confess your feelings for my brother?"
Lanny just rolled her eyes skyward as she took her beer back from Athena.
"Please be quiet, Athena Ivankov. Just give me some space. I want to enjoy my bottle of beer. Just focus on your concert for tomorrow."
"Alright. I leave you here for a moment. I still need to practice my dance performance. I can’t let Therese outshine me." Athena pinched Lanny’s cheeks as she reminded her, "Don’t drink too much. Okay?"
"Yes. I know. Now go!" Lanny wanted to be alone for a moment. She was still upset since Enzo left together with Alice. And she didn’t know where the two of them went.
On the other hand, Athena proceeded to her music room. She continued practicing her dance steps.
