Chapter 270: Naughty Foreplay
Athena could no longer bear the deafening silence and heavy tension in their table so she excused herself for a moment, heading to the restroom.
Both Dominique and Vladimir watched her back as she walked away from their table. Luna stayed quiet in her chair while observing the two overbearing men.
The two seemed like they were in rivalry mode tonight. If this was not a restaurant, she could see the two of them fighting each other in a ring.
’Damn. Miss Athena, how could you just leave these two? I guess I need to get some fresh air. The atmosphere here is so suffocating.’ Luna thought to herself, taking a sip on her glass of water.
"Sir. I’m just gonna check something," Luna finally stood up, finding her way out of the restaurant.
The two men were left alone at their table.
"Stay away from Athena." Vladimir broke the silence first. "I don’t want to see you hanging around her." He was blunt and direct toward Dominique as he didn’t hide his displeasure against him.
"Who are you to stop me from seeing her? You don’t have the right. You are just her cousin." Dominique retorted.
Vladimir clenched his jaw. He was pissed off by Dominique’s shamelessness. He had the urge to tell him he wasn’t her cousin and they were not blood-related at all. However, he couldn’t reveal the truth for now, otherwise, it might affect Athena’s revenge plan.
"Your presence is not good for her. You are a married man. You must avoid her," Vladimir sternly said.
"Mind your own business, Mr. Ivankov. Besides, I won’t do anything to harm Athena and her reputation. Our relationship is special." Dominique emphasized his last words.
Vladimir just let out a sarcastic laugh. "Special? You might be dreaming, Mr. Smith. You are just nothing to her. She has me. Why don’t you ask her yourself? Are you confident that she will choose you over me?"
