The culprit who hit Dominique with his car was handed over to the York City Police Department. The police officers who tried to torture Enzo were both suspended from work. They were now being investigated for accepting bribes.
Enzo stayed in their apartment today because of his day off so Alice decided to talk to Enzo regarding Dominique’s job offer.
"Have you heard? The Williams Family might be involved in this case. Do you think it’s best to accept Dominique’s job offer in the Williams Company? They want to get rid of you." Alice showed a hint of concern. But she was worried more about Dominique’s safety.
Enzo glanced at her in puzzlement. He was surprised by Alice’s suggestion. He thought Alice would even ask him to go back to Fortuna Island and leave York City because of what happened.
"Returning to Fortuna Grande is the best choice, don’t you think?" Enzo asked her, assessing her expression.
"I thought you wanted to stay here to regain your memories. Did you change your mind now?"
Alice looked like she was against the idea of returning to Fortuna Grande. When Dominique got into an accident, she realized that staying in York City would be convenient for her to protect Dominique.
Meanwhile, Enzo stayed silent for a moment.
"You are right. I should not run anymore. I will accept Dominique’s job offer. I will prove to them that I’m not scared of their evil schemes."
Enzo clenched his fists. He wanted to do this for his sister’s sake. He needed to get the company’s management right to reclaim their company. He could do this with the help of Dominique.
"Okay. I’ll support you with your decision." Alice patted Enzo’s shoulder. "By the way, I have to go. I’ll be late for work."
