The Williams Family released a statement regarding the scandal involving Melody Williams. A press conference was conducted at the W Diamond Group Main Building.
"The accusation is baseless. Mr. Allan Gamboa framed Miss Melody Williams. She never hired him to cause an accident during the photoshoot of W Diamond Group for their upcoming product launching."
The representative from the PR Team presented some proof that Melody had nothing to do with Allan Gamboa.
"We regret to inform you that Allan Gamboa passed away two days ago due to a drug overdose. Based on the autopsy report, the authorities found out that Mr. Allan Gamboa was a Narcotics user."
"He wanted to blackmail Miss Melody Williams, framing her for something she didn’t do because he needed some money to buy drugs. He is addicted to narcotics."
The reporters began writing news articles about this story. They also asked Melody about her engagement with Oliver Jones.
Melody grabbed the microphone and put on a pitiful act, shedding some tears.
"Due to the scandal, the Jones Family broke off the engagement. This is so unfair to me. I was falsely accused and now, I lost my fiancé!"
Alfonso instructed his daughter to get the public sympathy during this press conference to put pressure on the Jones Family. They were still hoping that Oscar would take back his decision.
"I don’t know if we can still fix this. But I hope the Jones Family will reconsider their decision. My father will continue to reach out to Uncle Oscar and Oliver and discuss this matter."
The reporters continued asking Melody but Athena already turned off the television.
