The leader ignored Marie’s plea. Since Dominique continued to struggle, he punched and kicked him once again until Dominique coughed with blood.
The man with a scar on his face didn’t show any mercy to the young boy. He kept beating Dominique until he could no longer move.
His body ached all over with bruises and blood.
"Please stop hurting my brother! No! He is just a boy. Have mercy on him."
The men just laughed sardonically, ignoring Marie’s pleading voice. They made Dominique a punching bag.
They didn’t look like professional bodyguards. They acted like a gangster.
Dominique was now lying on the floor, protecting his head using both hands while the two men kept kicking his body and back.
Dominique felt like he was going to faint but he tried to fight it. His strong will was the only reason he remained conscious. He was afraid that once he fainted he would no longer see his sister and his parents again.
’No. I can’t die here. Please someone help!’ Dominique prayed inwardly.
It did not take long before Marie shouted once again.
