"Let’s make this work, Olga," Madeline said. "Let’s give them hell."
"Yes, Miss. Let’s give them hell," Olga responded coldly. "They will pay for treating me like crap."
Olga left Madeline’s room and prepared herself for the revenge she had been waiting for, and not long after that, Leia opened the door to check on Madeline.
"Is this the dress you told me about?" Leia asked.
"Yep, what do you think? It fits the glamorous theme you envisioned, right?"
"Indeed, I was quite surprised when you told me you wanted a glamor theme. I thought you’d do something more... revealing."
"Like lingerie?"
Leia nodded.
Madeline laughed as she remembered her conversation with Lance about wearing lingerie for this fashion show.
"Oh, trust me, I’m thinking about it too. But my boyfriend told me no. He said he doesn’t want me to get too exposed," Madeline said. "He said he’d find a way to stop this fashion show if I dared to walk on the runway with barely anything covering my body."
Leia laughed. "I’m glad you didn’t pick lingerie. I’m no match against the Grant family. If he wants to shut my business down, he could."
Leia might have wrapped it up with a dry laugh, but it was actually a serious statement.
