Chapter 221
The D-Day of Madeline and Leia’s fashion show had arrived. The staff was busy in Hotel Truman’s auditorium because the show would start in a few hours.
Madeline was already in her private room backstage far earlier than the others, but she continued staying inside because she was waiting for Olga to come.

"Are you sure you don’t need me there? I’m with my siblings right now. Lily and George have free time, so they will come with me to the fashion show," Lance’s voice came through the phone. "Theo will also come, but he will be a bit late because he still has to do a few things in the office. He said he won’t miss it, so you don’t need to worry."
Madeline was surprised that Lily and George would be attending as well. She did tell Lily on the phone that the fashion show would be Angel’s downfall, but she didn’t expect her to personally fly from London to Los Angeles to see it.
"I can’t wait to see you there, Maddy!" Lily said on the phone. "You’ll be very pretty on the runway!"
"Yeah, I can’t wait. Will you be wearing lingerie too?" George asked, but then she heard Lance severely reprimanding him.
"Why the fuck would you even ask that? If it’s all lingerie, I won’t allow her to go to this fashion show!"
"Ouch! I’m just asking!" George protested.
Madeline chuckled. She had full control over what she would wear for today’s show, and she had prepared a special dress inspired by a character from an old cartoon, Jessica Rabbit, with that iconic small hips-to-waist ratio.
