Leander smiled seeing her reaction. When she kissed his cheek, he didn’t know why his heart skipped a beat. She was happy and he got exhilarated.
And it seems like she cries when she is happy too. She must have a separate compartment in her skull to store her tears.
She was adorable as she looked at the ring. It was obvious that she loved the ring.

His heart skipped a beat. He knew once she gets this way, her eyes will turn to distant eyes and she will speak hurtful words. And he will end up hurting her in return.
