Chapter 681: Always curious about
Tiger somehow fitted Heaven’s description of her husband. Although she rarely talked about personal matters, she often kept it vague. Thus, her colleagues only knew a thing or two about her husband. For instance, they were aware that her husband was currently unemployed. From the looks of it, Tiger seemed to have just come from a job interview and got rejected. She also mentioned her husband was good-looking. In their eyes, Tiger wasn’t bad. Although he wasn’t as godly as she mentioned, he still stood out in a crowd.
Tiger’s visit piqued the interest of many. Now, people were wondering if his visit had anything to do with the rumors about his ’wife.’
While those who saw Tiger and Heaven in the art department busied themselves in the cafeteria, talking about them, Heaven and Tiger bantered on the rooftop.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" she spat out as she sat on the bench, watching Tiger sit down on the other end. "I nearly threw up hearing all your nonsense. Did you hit your head?"
"I heard about the rumor," Tiger laughed as he slid his hand inside his suit pocket. "Axel told me that there’s this rumor, and I wanted to see how you’re holding up. I was expecting you to be bullied, but I guess I set my expectations too high. It’ll be nice to see you get bullied."
Her expression died as she watched him take out a cigarette. She snatched the cigarette clipped between his lips, crumpled it, and tossed it aside.
"Hey!" he exclaimed, only to receive a cold look from her.
"Didn’t you say you wanted to have lunch with me? Where’s the food?" she asked monotonously.
"I forgot it in the car."
Her face twitched. "Go get them."
"Nah, never mind. Just skip lunch so you lose weight."
