Monster Wars Part 1
Jake: "Ugh..."
Jake slowly opens his eyes as he blinks groggily as a sharp pain in his head makes it hard to truly focus on anything else.
It also didn't help how the whole place was just pitch black, as if the smell was any real clue they were in one of the many sewers that Conners seemed to know about that the rest of the city sewer maintenance crew either forgot or were no longer connected to the rest of the sewers.
Loud, wet, and sloppy crunch noises fill the void as Jake struggles to move his arms, as they've been chained up to something, maybe a wall?
A loud clap awakens some lights, and Jake is blinded for a solid minute as he tries to see where he was and manages to make out three different giant figures along with two sets of chains coiling into the ground and around his own feet.
muffled familiar male voice: "Hell. ..ere It. lon. ..me sin.. ..'ev meet."
Jake just looks up and around with a confused look on his face, causing the owner of the voice to grumble as loud stomping sounds were heard as Lizard Man made his way towards Jake and removed the bag from Jake's head; that was actually the reason everything was hard to see and hear.
familiar male voice: "(Sighs as he rubs the bridge of his nose) Just why the heck did he have a bag on his head? (Slams hand on rails) When we plan on killing HIM!? Why does it even matter what he sees if he's not even going to live within the next hour or so?"
Demonic female voice: "I wAnTeD tO SaVe ThE bEsT fOr LaSt!"
The familiar male voice just sighs as he snaps the metal railing and tosses the remains into the water, causing a melting sound to be heard while the Lizard Man looks around Jake's prison and finds a toolbox that he places right next to Jake.
Lizard Man: "Ain't nothing personal, kid. Just a bit of perfection if you will."
Jake: "Heard about your so-called perfection doc. Just got to know something, thought?"
Lizard Man: "And what might that be?"
Jake: "Is the doc or the lizard talking?"
Lizard Man's eyes dilate a bit from his question, as for the most part everyone except Spider-Woman believes the Lizard and Conners to be the same man acting like the original Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, when in reality, they're more like the fictional version that most people believe of the story where they're actually two separate people forced to share one body.
Lizard Man can't help but laugh over finally meeting someone besides his foe to truly realize that he hates his other half and views him as nothing more than a waste of science as he keeps trying to find ways to stabilize his corrupted DNA so that he no longer has to worry about the lizard.
Lizard Man, meanwhile, wants to break Conners' mind so much that the doctor finally stops struggling for control and finally relinquishes the right to control this body to the superior species to do with as he pleases.
Hearing Lizard Man's laugh creeps out the man in charge along with the demonic voice somehow, and he quickly stops with a huff and turns around and begins reprimanding them for many things that seemed to have been piling up over the time they've worked together.
While he was talking, however, Lizard Man's tail was so worked up that he swiped the toolbox and knocked it near Jake, with everything dropping in front of Jake.
Most people would try and hide something that could possibly help them get free and bust out of the place. However, that would actually be the wrong choice in this scenario, is what Jake's mysterious sixth sense is telling him, and he just leaves everything to be.
Also, just what the heck was he going to do with any of that stuff? His hands were dangling in the air, hooked up to a machine that then went straight to his legs, giving them the perfect chance to rip off one of his limbs or hang him upside down and turn him into a human boxing bag.
From somewhere in the darkness Jake could hear a grumble as if they wanted him to try and escape, but sadly for them, he was smart enough to rely on something that isn't even his to tell him when there's a trap right in his face.
The man that was speaking earlier starts walking away, but as the metal clunks of his feet ring through the sewers, they are forced to a sudden stop when Jake says a single word that no one was expecting him to say.
Jake: "Mr. Hardy! I thought you'd be in hell given what you tried to do when we last met! So, how's your grumpity old rear end still here?"
Sounds of panic as the old man starts walking back faster than when he left, and then suddenly, he jumps right in front of Jake and grabs him by the throat and sinks his claw-like fingers into his neck, draining some of the blood from Jake that trickles down his arm.
Mr. Hardy: "Look, kid. I don't care about you not one bit. But I have a request to fulfill, and it means I need you for it to happen since, knowing that girl, she made some distance in order to try and save herself from me, as she knows how I work. Yet she seems to forget where her pettiness comes from and that I will use any and everything to get what I want."
His claw hands retract back inside his body, as does all the blood he took from Jake and jumps away like the Hulk back into the darkness as a creepy demonic-looking entity that kind of looks like his monster form but, at the same time, without any humanity anywhere inside.
They said nothing and just watched as Lizard Man got to work setting up what was clearly appearing to be either a torture chamber or an organ-extracting process, and for some reason Lizard Man seemed WAY too good at setting everything up.
Jake: "Didn't realize that you were so used to this."
Lizard Man: "Well, I am a man of class, and back when I was (clears throat) ahem. More primal than either of us would have liked, I made sure that my meals didn't make more of a mess than they needed."
Having gently placed down all the tools he felt like he'd need and making sure the place was covered in enough plastic lining so that no trace of blood will drop, alerting anyone who may find this crime scene, as they all know what's going to happen to the place should it be discovered coated in blood.
Lizard Man: "Trust me, my dear fellow. (Grabs a box cutter blade.) You're far better in hands as rough and scaly as mine compared to the mittens that banshee claims to have after her transformation."
Lifting one finger up, Lizard Man gets a piece of duct tape and places it over Jake's mouth as well, violently pulling some chains down that felt like he was trying to rip Jake clean in half as his body was raised into the air and forced into a position only suitable for the main course of a family dinner.
All throughout the night Lizard Man did as he was asked and started dissecting Jake while he was still alive so that all three of them could figure out just which parts of the body were most affected by symbiotes and what changes there might be after all this time compared to normal people.
Whatever screams Jake might have wanted to let out were completely sealed by the duct tape covering his mouth as well as his eyes, forced to stay open since that's what the demon in the back seemed to like and want.
By the time the job was done, half of Lizard Man's body was coated in blood, along with his lab coat, looking even madder than it had before the operation.
During the entire dissection process, the true white demon watched on with glee over all the pain Jake was forced to live through as she had suffered (albeit very minor compared to Jake), and when Lizard Man was finished, she forced herself to shrink down into Jake's size.
For this was the plan the whole time, as the only way to get Felica was to either make her worry about Jake or make her think he was coming to see and surprise her, but seeing as how she was avoiding him, the only real way for her father to get what he wants is for her to think Jake's about to die.
What none of them realize in this little plan, however, is that Felica does not love Jake like that, as she views him more so as a brother, and their entire plan would have worked far better if they were to get Flash Thompson here since that was the guy she had a crush on.
Maybe it was for the best they got Jake, though currently he was as un-symbiotic as one with a symbiote could be without getting separated from it, meaning whatever they might have wanted to learn or even get was nothing more than tiny, fragmented embers of hope.
Or maybe that was just something they said to Jake to scare him even more as they cut apart every part of him as best they could with the worst tools for the job since they wanted to make sure everything hurt as much as it possibly could.
It seemed even more like that was the case as they didn't even jar or put the organs in anything as they just threw everything into the city's contaminated water, as there's no way anything going through Alchemax or even half the mad scientists that might live down here could still be safe in any way, shape, or form.
Honestly, it's a miracle that the only monster to come from here was Fing Fang Foom, and he doesn't really count, as he's either an alien from another world or an alien from another dimension that was just forced to live here because nothing else could fit him.
But thanks to this toxic watering hole, something amazing happens when Jake's organs are forced into them as something clicks into place and Ekaj, or at least the remnants of his symbiote form, starts spewing from his heart and, unlike Humpty Dumpty, forces everything back together again.
With the organs merging together, all the vines and twines of Jake's body form together as they slowly but steadily recreate the monstrous body he used to have while prowling the streets, yet when he surfaced, the world was not the same, as this was the home of the future Mia Morales.
All around the world was full of fire and destruction as the figure that represents him stands atop it all, declaring a new reign for all of their monstrous kind, leaving Jake shocked, as he had no idea what time it was, but he knew without doubt that it was too far for him to go back.
Jake: "I need either Strange or someone from the X-Men to make me a time machine. Or maybe Harry has one to spare since he's a smart enough guy; he'd definitely learn how to make something like that if everything went straight to hell!"
Suddenly Jake caught a glimpse of himself in a sturdy enough piece of glass from a car that looked stepped on, and from there he found his eyes were not right; his hair was like it used to be but with white on top instead of green.
Also, he had no clothes on at all besides the very thin wires of white that just barely made something akin to a speedo for him to be at least a bit decent and saving him some dignity.
Quickly stopping by Logan's bar Jake took the clothes from his closet since he figured he'd not miss them, as from how he reacted in the past, the only way he'd ever let the building break is if he were dead, and considering the massive hole in the entire left side of it... well, he might not miss it, is all Jake knows.
Stepping a single step out of the remains of the bar, Jake was faced with a couple of familiar faces, as in front of him was his entire school aged up quite somewhat, and with the weapons in hand and makeshift armor adorning their bodies, it was clear they weren't here for talks of peace.
And that is all for now hope you all enjoyed and until next time stay safe and peace!
