The Amazing White-Spider

The strange man cocks his gun and holsters it either as a way to be ready or because he wants to show he's not ready to harm any of them just yet at the very least.

Mia: "Look, Castle! I told you that the man who'd be the worst person in the world is right here in front of you, yet you can't for some damn reason pull the itty bitty trigger!?"

Castle rolls his bigger gun from behind his back and unstraps it so he could get a better handle, as he seems to not like the thing restricting his muscles, or maybe he wanted to look cool. Either way, he succeeded with the latter, alright.

Castle: "Listen, kid. I'm thankful for you helping me with my mission by pointing me towards some very dangerous men that supposedly disappeared before you found them. But I won't be harming some innocent family just because you say he's worse than anything I've ever seen before."

Castle grabs his gun and swings it around like a bat as he just walks away with it resting on his shoulders while Mia cries out many profanities at the man as he apparently promised her something (most likely killing Jake) only to back out at the last second.

The Long family, meanwhile, was just super confused over everything, as they just wanted a nice, normal family outing, as it's been far too long since they were last able to even try one, what with all the insanity that happens in New York constantly forcing the parents to keep working while the roads and bridges get repaired.

Haley did her best to protect her brother, who, thanks to his wheelchair, was just about the same height as her now, which she greatly enjoyed teasing him about. But with him being in danger, she's quick to shift from playful to painful if she needs to, along with revealing her secret to the family.

Mia: "I can't believe this! After I helped him stop the future demons from rising, he dares to stop before the king!"

Everyone just looked at her with great confusion as they began to wonder if she was just insane and projecting a video game like it was reality with Jake maybe looking, talking, acting, or whatever was needed for her to think of him as the final boss of a game.

This didn't make the family any less tense, however, as it just made them even more terrified as they were now dealing with some insane person who wanted to kill Jake, the only son of their family, for no reason other than her own delusions.

Mia groans and presses a button on her belt as a suit forms around her body, seeming to be a gift from the Fantastic Four or maybe even Spider-Woman, as who the heck has something like that just lying around normally? Especially if it means so little as to gift it to someone?

The belt releases red and black (mostly black) liquid all around her body that coils around her limbs and then fills itself in as tight and secure as it possibly could with even some expansion or generous enhancements to her size as she went from being about Jake's height to almost as tall as his father.

Mia: "(Grasps her wrists and massages them.) Now that I truly can't rely on anyone else, I guess I just have to do this. My. SELF!"

With the last statement full of bitterness towards not just Jake but seemingly the entire world, she rushes towards him with everything she could muster.

The Long parents did their best to try and shield their son, who could only look up with his weakened state, just as Haley's finger glowed yellow as her hands had swirling energy forming what appeared to be dragon claws that were managing to hold onto Mia's powerful strikes.

Mia: "Damn it! I didn't realize the demented dragon was also here. If I had, I would have most certainly stolen one of Frank's guns before he left!"

Mia places her hand on her belt and turns to node to the left a full 90-degree angle, causing a part of it to start glowing with two little lines, possibly spider legs, as her suit shifts to a more honest size but now with things added to her hips that were quickly found to be spider legs as she used them to strike at Haley.

Mia: "I've studied what you can do. So, I know quick, precise, multi-strikes are the most effective against someone like you!!!"

With every hit Mia dealt to Haley, the parents got even more worried than they were before, as not only was this the most terrifying thing they've had to live through after the brief scare of their daughter being taken, but as they watched, they saw their baby girl get cut all over.

Jake just stared with drool slowly dribbling from his lips as his eyes blankly stare out into space, as this was all too much for the poor guy, as apparently his brain was overstimulated and needed some time to get readjusted in order to work as it had before.

Or at least that's what the doctors who looked at him came to think and believe, but in reality, inside Jake's body was the start of a war over control as every symbiote tried to battle the weakened Ekaj and Jake combo, including the white symbiote, as apparently Ekaj's time in the control seat has made its true self act against it.

Maybe that's what happens when someone like Jake's brain is overstimulated; maybe this happened because two souls were dragged out and then forced back in, or maybe it was just a matter of time.

There's no real way to know, as there are very few people who are affected like this, and one of them has gone missing.

But upon seeing his sister in pain, Jake managed to get enough control over his body that his right arm turned blood red as it shot out blood spikes right at Mia, causing her to focus her attention on deflecting the attacks, leaving her wide open for Haley to attack.

Focusing all the power she could while also forming dragon legs, Haley struck Mia's side as hard as she possibly could, causing her suit to ripple and fling her back into a tree that was sent into another tree with both of them leaving an impact on one another.

Mia falls to the ground but manages to move her body just enough that she doesn't face-plant the ground and instead performs a superhero landing as her suit drips off her.

Mia: "Damn it! I guess I got to go all out after all!"

With a stern look in her eyes, Mia spits out some blood and then turns the dial all around with a full spider appearing on her belt that started to mutate and become a lot more dangerous-looking as her new suit seemed to pierce into her flesh as it became far more deadly than the ones she used before.

Meanwhile. Far off in the distance, Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, was watching everything just in case.

Frank: "Damn kid! Just what the heck is she even planning?"

He shakes his head and puts on some music, as this was the last thing he was going to do before driving back home.

Frank: "Don't blame me. Blame your own stupid choices."

Pulling the trigger, Frank hits Mia right in the chest, causing her to begin bleeding out, as these were special rounds he made for people like the HULK, whose skin is tougher than metal.

Having finished what he wanted to do, Frank began driving off with a scowl on his face as the song of his daughter and wife singing some form of nursery rhyme fueled his quest, as the only thing that could bring him peace is a war to fight.

Back to the cabin.

Mai was bleeding out all over the place as her suit dissolved again, but this time it seemed to heal the damage that was done to her at the cost of its own existence, which Mia seemed even angrier about than the fact Frank just shot her like she was some kind of criminal!

Mia: "Damn him! Damn EVERYONE! (Cries like a rain shower.) I just... I just wanted to save everyone, and I can't even do that! I'm a failure as a hero. (Punches the ground) I'm a failure of a resistance fight. (Punch) I'm a failure as a time traveler! (Punch) I'm probably a failure as a person as WELL!!! (Rabid punches the ground while crying even harder)."

The entire Long family at first thought it was just a mere trick to get them to lower their guard, but as her mental state seemed to get worse with each punch, just like her hands that got bloodier and bloodier, they could only look on with pity.

Before anyone even knew what was going on, Mia was now inside the Long family cabin with a blanket wrapped around her body and a hot chocolate in hand as Mrs. Long placed a tray of cookies right in front of her to enjoy.

Mia was a bit confused but has long missed the feeling of normalcy this provided along with the feeling of a mother's love since hers was taken by the White Demon from his agents of death or whatever they used to be called before they destroyed the world.

The tears flow from Mia's face once more as she tries her best to act normal but can't, as this is the first time she's felt at peace in a very long time, and it's far too much for her, especially when it comes from the demon's mother of all people!

Haley, meanwhile, was just clinging to her brother even more than usual since they were now housing a person who, just two short minutes ago, was trying to kill their only son, but because of some (in her opinion) crocodile tears, they're letting her break this family trip!

She couldn't really hate her mom and dad, however, as this is one of the things that she loves about them even if it's the reason they can't go on this trip as often as she'd like or even have more normal family nights.

But still, they were her parents, and she was proud to call them as such, as they were people she aspired to be in some way or another, just as Jake does.

Mrs. Long: "Now then, sweetie, if you've calmed down a bit (reaches out and caresses her hand), care to tell us what's going on with you? Or even what this is all about?"

Mia just started crying even more as she sniffled and hacked to the point everyone assumed she was Jake's ex and that the reason they broke up was because she was Crazy with a capital K and an elongated razy.

After fifteen minutes Mia was ready to talk, but only if Jake was in another room, as she wasn't ready to trust the demon just yet but was more than happy to be with his family since most of them were fated to die at some point.

With a cough and a groan, Mia chugs her hot chocolate like it's something stronger and begins telling the family everything about her life that has led her to this point in time, along with everything she's had to endure to become the Spider-Woman she is.

The Long family (minus Jake) were completely amazed by what they were hearing, as it seemed like the plot of a Terminator movie but somehow even crazier with superheroes, zombies, and many other things that are hard to even imagine.

It didn't really help anyone think she wasn't crazy, as even in the weird and wacky world they live in, hearing someone talk about time travel like this was without a doubt insane and wasn't something they were able to even comprehend as being real without being directly involved in superhero work.

For now, they just accepted that the poor girl needed some help, and they were all willing to listen, which was just enough to keep her semi-normal enough to not immediately try and kill Jake because of whatever's going on inside her head.
