The Amazing White-Spider

Penny: "Why do I keep letting you talk me into these things?"

Felicia: "Aw, come on, you know you like it."

Penny and Felicia were currently arguing with one another as they changed out of their super suits and into some formal dresses, as the women were sneaking into a secret black-market auction that was for some reason being hosted the same night as a museum gala.

The duo had two separate goals, with Penny wanting to bust everyone she could while at the same time keeping Felica in check. Felicia, meanwhile, was planning to take any and everything that caught her eye, since her father's now on the run and she has the freedom to steal everything she wants without worry.

What the girls weren't expecting to see, however, was Jake wearing a very dashing crimson red suit with black pants and a matching bowtie as he mingled with the crowd as well as seeming to have fun and enjoying himself.

For Jake was on a mission himself, as someone inside this gala had managed to download secret and heavily dangerous files from S.H.I.E.L.D., and he was partnered up with Ava, who wore a nice long white dress with a few black marks on the sides of her dress as well as some tiny ones on her gloves.

Penny whispering to Felicia: "What the heck is he doing here???"

Felicia whispers back: "I don't know!? As far as I know, he has no connections with anyone in the science community!"

Yes, the gala was a gathering of all the top researchers, archaeologists, chemists, and just about anyone that had to deal with helping Oscorp create the brand-new state-of-the-art realistic hologram technology.

Giant Osborn Hologram on repeat: "Welcome to the first-ever tech expo of our hologram technology, where we can bring history to life once more for your viewing pleasure (winks). Thanks to your generous donations and hard work, we've managed to create state-of-the-art tech that does everything but smell real (chuckles), but don't worry, we're working on that little bug as well."

Jake whispers to Ava: "(Forcing a massive polite smile constantly.) How much longer do I have to suck up to these relics before we get a lead on the black market?"

Ava whispers back: "It wouldn't be a secret auction if it were easy to find, now W.O.U.L.D. I.T.!"

The pair smile and wave as they once again get back to dealing with a bunch of weirdos that enjoyed chatting with young and attractive people, or at least in the case of Ava anyway, as Jake just reminded a lot of them of their youth, kids, or grandkids.

As the girls didn't want to get spotted, they began using their powers and skills to pivot and move away/hide from Jake since they just knew he'd have tons of questions, especially about why both of them were wearing dresses that revealed their sides and had a large cut showing some of their cleavage, with Penny wearing red and Felicity wearing black.

Jake wonders just how long this assignment is going to take, as he has much better things to do than sit around chatting with people he can't understand even if they're speaking perfect English.

Ekaj: "I could separate and do my own thing, cover more ground that way."

Jake shook his head, as he couldn't afford the luxury of thinking to himself nor saying it aloud just in case someone else heard it and took it the wrong way.

Ekaj was greatly annoyed, even more so than Jake was for this operation; if he had his way, he'd just turn into their monster form, kill everyone who fights back, and start breaking everyone's limbs one at a time till he gets something or causes enough damage that he finds what they're looking for.

But that would defeat the point of this "stealth" operation if he were to do that, even though all Ekaj had to do was kill everyone and place the blame on some random group part of the black-market auction, just like the good ol' US of A has taught him through school.

Penny, meanwhile, manages to hit it off well enough with some old men who, from the way they're speaking, seem to know something others don't as they start leading her deeper into a dark alleyway.

Suffice to say the men did in fact not know a thing, as the second they were far enough away from prying eyes and cameras, Penny's Spidey sense started going off, and not knowing where it was going, Penny jumped up as high as she could and then split-kicked two of the four men.

Pervert 3: "What?"

Penny: "Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't FIGHT BACK!"

Penny kicked the man's jaw as the last one tried stabbing her again, only for Penny to quickly turn around, dodge the attack, and sucker punch him as well as kick him right between the legs for an added measure.

Penny: "I mean really, how can people like this be so idiotic? I just can't understand what was going through your minds trying something like this, especially in a world with all people with powers."

Penny shakes her head with disapproval and annoyance, and when she stops, she looks down and sees the syringe they tried stabbing her with.

Quickly looking left and then right to make sure no one was watching, Penny grabbed the syringe and put it inside her handheld purse.

Penny: "Never know when you might need a strange liquid to get you out of a jam. Especially if I can get it analyzed to help others."

Having nothing else to do here, Penny makes a loud banging noise for security to pick them up as well as leaving a note for what they tried to do to her.

Walking back into the main party room, Penny noticed Felicia chatting it up and seeming to be striking it well enough with the right people as she subtly gives Penny a V, which they agreed meant they were close or right on the mark.

Jake and Ava were looking at the group of fallen perverts as they tried to understand who did this, and thanks to Penny writing with her nondominant hand, even Jake couldn't really tell who wrote it, but thanks to Penny's practice, it was still legible enough to read what it said.

Jake: "(Crouched down) Who'd you think did this?"

Ava: "(Walking around the group) Someone very skilled, and possibly a woman."

Jake: "(Raises an eyebrow) Oh really? (Stands up) And how'd you come to that conclusion?"

Ava doesn't say anything and just crouches down as she picks up some tiny wooden fragments from some blue heels that Penny was wearing, as she didn't want to wear all red with Felicia wearing some white heels to somewhat match.

Ava: "There are only so many things in this place that are made up of the same thing, and the only ones out and about are a woman's heels."

Jake: "Someone could have just been walking around earlier; it doesn't mean a woman did this."

Ava: "True, but heels don't break like this unless someone was using them as a weapon."

Jake: "(Raises an eyebrow as he walks behind Ava) Speaking from personal experience, are you?"

Ava: "(Softly smiles, which Jake can tell hides murderous intent) What do you think?"

Jake: "(Shrugs) Point proven. I'll shut up and start looking at every woman's heels."

Ava just rolls her eyes as the two leave, letting the security guards do their jobs, and as they, Ava and Jake, walked into the hall, Jake, for but a second, swears he saw Penny or Felicia walking right next to him.

Jake suddenly stops, as does Ava as she turns around and starts following Jake as Jake follows Felicia, who was following a group of idiots she managed to sucker into showing her the black-market auction before it even began, while Penny followed them all from above.

Penny thinking: "Please don't look up, please don't look up, please don't look up, please don't look up, please don't look up, please don't look up, please don't look up, please don't look up, please don't look up, please don't look up, please don't look up, PLEASE NO ONE LOOK UP!!!"

The idiots walk over to the caveman exhibit and move the caveman with a club just slightly and then his club. They waited for a couple of seconds and then walked over to the back panel and turned a sunflower on the wall at a ninety-degree angle and walked through the door that began opening.

Idiot 1: "This is a very exclusive event that only the richest and finest people are privy to viewing."

Felicia pretends to be interested; since as far back as she could remember, her failure of a father always brought her to these things, probably to show off his power or maybe to show off future merchandise.

The group enters and begins walking down some stairs as Jake grows an elongated white arm to force the door to stay open as he and Ava rush down. Moments before the door closes, Spider-Woman webs them open as she quickly slides through the tiny gap that she's honestly amazed she made it through in time.

As everyone slowly descends, with the first group being the loudest, the second group making some noise, and finally Spider-Woman making barely any noise as she swings her way further down the secret staircase.

After ten minutes of nonstop walking, they finally made their way to the bottom, and once she saw no further use for them, Felicia made sure they all slept a wondrous and stimulating sleep, as she made it seem like they kissed when in reality she shocked them before doing anything.

Felicia quickly ran towards the large open area that wasn't as lit up as the massive open vault doors that welcomed anyone who had an invite to this exclusive event.

Jake and Ava saw everything, and not wanting other people to get alert, both of them dragged the men away back near the staircase, as it was dark enough no one would even think of looking near the stairs, especially when coming down.

Penny was just watching everything from the ceiling as she tuned her mask's eyes to night vision mode so she could see everything Felicia might try to steal, along with all the dangers that could pose a problem if they can't see.

Felicia unlocked the vault door, which wasn't that hard for her, as it was fairly easy to do with her special gloves that faked the last handprint on the console. It was the same thing with her eye mask, as it had a reflective material that somehow showed whatever the machines were looking for.

The only real challenge came from the password; as with her mask, Felicia found which numbers were used the most frequently to be the password, but if she were to take a guess, she would have only three guesses to unlock the door before triggering the alarm.

Jake, not wanting to wait around any longer than he already had, places his hand over the console as it turns purple and begins hacking into the computer.

Jake: "Hey, long time no see. So... happen to know where a guy can meet a certain cute black cat? One about yay high (mimes Felica's height) and about yay big (mimes Felica's size), because I've been looking for her for a while now."

Felicia: "Ha, ha. How long have you been following me?"

Jake: "I haven't, but I was long enough to see you freak out over this simple little algorithm."

Felica: "Yeah, I bet it's easy for someone with powers."

Jake: "Yeah, that's not how I work, but (playfully pats Felicia's cheek) keep thinking I'm a god amongst men if you want since it's always nice to meet a fan."

Ava over comms: "Oh god, make it stop! (Gags) I think I'm going to puke!"

Jake: "I'll never stop messing with you; after all, you're just so cute when you make that face."

Felicia just blushes as she tries to convert it to anger but can't, as Jake just unlocked the vault while Ava pretends to be poisoned and dying only to "magically" come back to life once she hears the vault door click.

Spider-Woman couldn't hear anything, but from what she saw, she was very annoyed, as what was the point of the four and a half hours of avoiding Jake if it meant nothing?

Both groups charge into the vault, with Jake and Ava finding everything as they were given contacts before the mission that would make anything related to the files glow since all S.H.I.E.L.D. computers are only accessible in the Helicarrier, and everything that touches the mainframe is gassed with a tracking powder that's practically impossible to get rid of short of ripping off your own skin or waiting five years.

Felica, meanwhile, was taking jewels, statues, and some fine cutlery that had the imprint of cats. She would have liked to take some paintings, but she knew when not to get greedy, especially since it's already going to be difficult to convince Jake that her figure didn't just grow in size.

Along with how someone in a dress and high heels was now wearing her usual skin-tight cat outfit, with the only thing not made of her symbiote being her eye mask.

Penny could have stopped her, but she has no idea where any of this belongs, as she hasn't heard of any of these things getting stolen, so they must have come from someone's private collection, and since this is a black-market auction, she doesn't really care how things are changed.

Especially since she managed to "acquire" a spider totem for herself that seemed to be very ancient, given how detailed the golden spider was.

With Jake and Ava's job finished, they too started robbing the place, as who the heck was going to report anything stolen here?

Ava grabbed some artifacts that were part of her clan's history as well as some Wakandan artifacts, as it was always good to have the Wakandan people owe her clan something.

Jake was just taking old video game consoles, cartridges, and basically everything he wanted, with the only odd thing he grabbed being a black dragon and white phoenix paired amulet, which he seemed oddly drawn towards.

Guard: "HEY! WE GOT US SOME RATS IN HERE!"

Everyone turned their head as the man was about to press a switch. None of them noticed, but Spider-Woman, who just barely managed to stop him just in time with her taser shot, then dropped down, revealing herself.

But where there is one, there are many, as possibly a thousand, maybe even two, of these guards started surrounding the place.

Spider-Woman: "Crapsicles."

Guard 245: "What?"

Bam, Pow, Biff!

Spider-Woman and CO started fighting their way through the large group, with Ekaj groaning at how Jake wasn't trying to go for the lethal option.

Ekaj: "Why not!"

Jake: "Still a secret, and (looks at Spider-Woman) I've already done enough to hurt them."

Guard 1125: "(Grunts) Thin quick punces us!"

Jake: "Let me think. NO!"

Jake punched and wiped as many of them as far back as he could since Ava couldn't really do anything without people noticing who she was other than a dark-skinned beauty wearing a tiger-themed dress.

Ava whispers and grunts: "If only I had my amulet."

Jake whispers and grunts back: "IF that happened, you'd be spotted in seconds!"

Ava groans, as she knows that would probably happen, especially now of all times, but she still finds it annoying how she has to rely on others to protect her since she's the only one in a dress that makes it very difficult for her to fight back.

Spider-Woman briefly loses her totem spider, and when that happens, she loses her mind; she honestly seemed to have the same rage a mother would have if they were to lose their child, or at least that's what poor guards #540 to #550 thought as she was swinging them around and hitting each other with themselves.

The group kept fighting as they slowly walked up the stairs since it was the only way in or out any of them knew of, but every second it seemed like the guards were growing, which meant they all had a time limit before Jake gave in to Ekaj's desires or lost the fight, whichever came first.

But by the grace of the gods above... and some marbles that Ava spilled since it was the only thing she knew would fit into her fancy purse without drawing anyone's attention or suspicions.

Not wanting to deal with whatever they had to open the door on this side, Jake grew his hands as big and monstrous as he possibly could and ripped the wall open with helicopter lights circling the building as someone called the police.

Jake: "Crap. RUN!"

Ava: "Why?"

Jake: "Are you eighteen or not afraid of the police asking questions for this stealth op!"

Ava gulped and nodded her head as she jumped into Jake's arms, who quickly grabbed on and held her in place.

Jake: "The heck?"

Ava: "I can't run that fast in this damn dress, so RUN, MONKEY BOY, RUN!"

Jake smiled as he enlarged his foot and broke the glass window in front of him as well as the one on the far right, with Jake and Ava running through the city in the night while Spider-Woman zipped away to redress herself since she did have an invitation.

Felicia was her plus one, which gave her a reason to stay as well, with the only thing she had to do being to quickly redress herself and hide her mask, which... had some problems given the dress had fewer ways to hide her gains.

Spider-Woman sighed and agreed to web them up in a place no one would ever think to look, which Felicia had to accept, as it was that or grow her dress and risk people asking why she was wearing an even fancier dress with much less of her skin showing.

After two hours of constantly running through the streets, Ava and Jake finally made it to the safe house that would match how the two were dressed.

Jake: "Ah. (flops down on a chair as his outfit morphs into something more normal.) That was such a pain."

Ava: "(Rubs, hugs, and kisses her amulet) Ah, Mama's never going to leave you again... unless I have to, my precious baby. (Turns to Jake and acts like she just didn't do that for five minutes straight.) If you thought that was a pain, imagine not being able to do anything because of this stupid dress!"

Ava grabs the hem of her dress and twirls around, which Jake Wolf whistles at just to mess with Ava, who once more rolls her eyes.

Meanwhile Spider-Woman was looking through her purse and was terrified that the mysterious syringe she found had somehow vanished.

Penny: "Where'd it go? I never brought it into the field, so..."

Penny remembers back when she was desperately getting dressed as Spider-Woman and that during that time frame she could have lost the syringe.

Which is what happened, as while Penny frantically got dressed, she popped her purse open to pull out her mask and web shooters, and during that time frame, just as she was swinging from the roof, the syringe fell from her purse and almost landed on Jake.

Before it did, Ekaj, or part of him, grew a hand and grabbed the syringe, breaking it as the bright pink liquid splashed onto both Jake and Ava and quickly got absorbed into both of their skins.

Penny: "Aw, crapsicles."
