The Amazing White-Spider

Ever since Halloween, Penny just couldn't get the thought of those other people Jake considered friends.

Like, how could her best have other best friends without ever telling her!? Even more so, how could he ever get a girlfriend without letting her know about the fact he was dating one of those girls? And while she knows her body isn't losing to any other girls, as being a superheroine keeps her in shape, still...

Penny: "UGH! (Places a pillow over her head as she screams into it before throwing it at a nearby wall directly on a poster of Tony Stark looking all cool as he leans his glasses down, saying, "I've found meaning in a desert on the brink of death. How about you? ") Why do I even keep this stupid poster?"

Penny walks around her room wondering just what the heck is wrong with her. Like, she knows she had a crush on Jake in the past, but that was dead and buried once she realized he was a murderer that didn't seem to feel any pity for the lives he took.

No, her problems come from the fact that even though she can't really see herself ever loving him anymore, she does in fact have a problem with one of the longest friendships she's ever had along with one of the few people that she could rely on to help keep her stable.

Not only does he have a brand-new life as whatever the heck he likes to call himself, but at the same time he also has an entirely separate life that he had never told her or possibly even Harry, given the same confused face he had as Penny's.

While Penny was confusing herself and trying to figure out the reason as to why Jake wouldn't tell her about this Trixie, Spud, or even Rose character, Aunt May arrived in the room and gently placed a tray of food down for her.

Aunt May: "Here. I know you may not like it when I come in unannounced when you're (Looks at her niece and wonders why she hasn't gotten changed or any semblance of getting ready for the day) Oh my word. Are you having boy troubles again?"

Aunt May said as calmly as she possibly could as she sat down on Penny's bed and gave it a few taps for her niece to come over, which she did, but very, very slowly, as she didn't want to have yet another one of these talks, especially when it has nothing to do with boys really and more about her feeling like she's apparently untrustworthy.

Once again Aunt May tells Penny the story of how when she was younger Uncle Ben was interested in another woman, and of course she did not like that one bit, so she kept getting closer to her man and the woman he was with; she made up just about everything to get him to stop liking her.

Of course, nothing illegal that could really hurt her or anything like that, but just enough that Uncle Ben would fall out of love with the woman and slowly begin falling in love with her as she used everything she knew he liked.

Aunt May: "You see, sweetie, we Parkers don't wait for the men we like, and we make sure to get them and will stop at nothing for that. I mean, your mother did the same for your father."

Penny: "REALLY!?"

This bit of news was very surprising since Aunt May and Uncle Ben rarely ever talked about her parents, no matter how many times she tried to prod them for info.

So far all she knows is that her parents were very busy people who worked often enough to constantly have dark circles under their eyes, had only five minutes to visit Ben and Mays place to be with their child, and now the fact that her mother was apparently a tigress like all women in her family.

Realizing she said too much, Aunt May pushed her niece off the bed closer to her closet and pointed towards it, and then Penny, as she quickly dashed out of the room with a somewhat panicked expression, leaving Penny even more confused about her parents.

Sniffing her underarms and realizing she really needed to get ready, Penny got herself cleaned up as she left her home and started swinging her way over to Jake's apartment as she realized she was just going to torment herself to no end if she just kept thinking about things and not talking to Jake to figure out why he kept quiet about them.

As Spider-Woman swings through the city, she takes in the sight of the aftermath of every shop getting rid of all their decorations and replacing them with either Thanksgiving or Christmas-themed decorations, along with some even throwing out some deals for the holiday seasons.

While distracted by the sights, Spider-Woman just barely manages to sense something getting shot at her, but whatever attacked her was more than one thing, as her web was cut and she started stumbling on the roof of a building.

Tumbling all across the place Spider-Woman only stops tumbling and rolling once she manages to run into one of the fans at the top of the building and groans as she does so, both for the broken body but also over the mysterious new threat that hit her.

???: "(Thick Russian accent) This isn't the one we're after. But any bug is better than none."

Spider-Woman was confused at what the Russian man was talking about, but it didn't take her very long to realize they were in fact hunters and that she was apparently their prey!

Even worse was that the Russian man seemed to be their master or teacher, as he just stood in the back and kept telling everyone how they all failed in their attacks that Spider-Woman just barely managed to dodge in the first place and let them know what to do to strike faster and harder.

???: "That's the right way to do it. No matter the beast, they all fall down once you swarm them in numbers equal to their own strength. (Scoffs) It'd be better if you could be even stronger, but everyone has to start from somewhere."

Two of the hunters in training try and strike Spider-Woman with their super advanced-looking spears that cause the roof to blow up a bit along with singing the fan on the top with the electrical discharge.

Not seeing a way out of this without harming the people Spider-Woman activated her special webs and started shooting out some electric web shots and some impact webs that do something to the hunters in training, but for the most part they're useless.

All because of the man in charge—thanks to a billboard that was right behind the building, Spider-Woman saw that the man was the world's best hunter, Kraven! And the man was apparently interested in training people to fight heroes for some reason.

Kraven: "Ready! AIM! FIRE!!!"

As Kraven started chanting, Spider-Woman saw all the people she didn't hit with her special webs twirl their spears with a glowing spear tip, line up at her, and then press into their spears as the spear tips fired at her one after another.

Thanks to her spidey-sense, she just barely managed to avoid most of the attacks, but that wasn't enough to save her completely, as whatever they hit caused them to explode with electric energy, and getting hit by one of them sucked, but getting hit by three out of the five shots was even worse!

While Spider-Woman was screaming in pain, all the people hunting her seemed to no longer want to be a part of the hunt, as they were wavering, overhearing the voice of a poor woman in immense pain that they were the direct cause of.

Kraven: "Keep it up, men! That's just how they all sound when they're close to death. We must teach these horrible, mutated scum that they can't take our world! It's ours by birth, and no matter how similar they may seem, remember their. Not. HUMAN!"

Spider-Woman wonders what the heck they think she could possibly be; if not human, then she's shocked and horrified to realize that everyone here was mostly a human purist that paid for Kraven's help in hunting them. And from how Kraven talked, it made it seem like he was too used to hunting down people and has done this way too many times.

Having nothing left in her arsenal to use, the electric spearhead bombs have disabled her special web shooter by way of completely destroying them as their circuits are fired and the special web fluid cartridges have broken and sealed it on her wrists. Spider-Woman gets ready for whatever they have in store for her.

But before anything could hit her, the spears were stopped by Jake!? At first Penny was shocked to see him there, but she was also happy upon getting saved from this situation.

Or at least she thought it was Jake, as the only thing she saw was a white humanoid shape, but what she failed to see were the female proportions on the white figure, as instead of a white spider coming to save a fellow spider, Spider-Woman was in fact saved by a White Tiger.

Kraven: "(Smirks) This is a battle none of you can handle. So back away and see how a master of the hunt deals with this spirit walker."

White Tiger: "(Hands glow as green glowing claws form from her hands) Says a failure who was too consumed by darkness to learn our ways and destroyed the very people who saved his life!"

Kraven: "Why must man commune with nature when (Clenches fist as a golden glow envelops his body with multiple animal cries trying to break free from him) We can subjugate them like the rest!"

White Tiger: "That ring is wasted on a thing like you! (Gets in a tiger fighting stance) I will take it back and purge your darkness from it!"

Kraven: "Good luck with that. It's mine and will always be mine!"

After saying that, the yellow energy becomes very violent as his eyes turn yellow and look like an eagle's, his size grows twice possibly even thrice it originally was, his legs crack as they seem to get slimmer, and finally his skin morphs into leather.

Meanwhile, the white tiger lady grew tiger legs as she launched towards Kraven, and that was the last thing Penny/Spider-Woman saw before she got knocked out by either internal bleeding or the shockwave that came from the two mystic fighters.

But what Penny knew was that she was inside Jake's living room with no idea how she got undressed into her normal outfit instead of her superhero outfit, especially since she almost never wore anything underneath, as it'd look super weird every time she tried before.

Next to her were Trixie and Rose, who were both looking after Penny. Apparently, they found her after she apparently got jumped by someone or something, and as they had no idea where she lived, they brought her over to Jake's place for immediate care.

Rose: "From how he looked at you, you'd think someone ripped out his heart. The only time I've ever seen him like that before was when his sister got kidnapped or whenever he got a call about her."

Trixie: "Yeah, either that or just anyone he cared for as well. I remember the time we were trying to set a record, and he had to leave because something happened to his grandfather."

Penny: "Um... where is he? I've... I've never seen him around before."

Trixie & Rose: "Japan."

Trixie: "Yeah, the old man apparently missed his homeland or something and has yet to return or something like that."

Rose: "I bet it's because he doesn't approve of her daughter's choice in men and eventually got fed up looking at them and left. I mean, why else would he leave after his granddaughter was in danger?"

While the girls talked and got closer, Penny realized that it wasn't that Jake didn't trust her; it was just that he was a bit of a weird guy that didn't really talk about much of anything without him feeling like he had to with the people around him.

Meanwhile, inside a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. building that looked to be a normal office, it was nothing more than a front for S.H.I.E.L.D. agents when they needed a place to rest or get briefed for their mission and, in rare cases like now, call upon other agents.

This was the case for Jake, as Ava had called upon him for some help along with Lela, as she was covered in bandages, as well as her green jade tiger amulet was nowhere to be seen as far as either of them could see.

Ava: "(Weakly) Please... help..."
