The Amazing White-Spider

A week of pure hell, torture, and torment was all that awaited all the trainees, as every day they were all forced to be woken up by their trainers at six o'clock in the morning, and after getting abu—I mean thoroughly trained by their teachers, they were finally allowed five minutes of peace.

Even that wasn't a good thing, as almost all the meals were heavily encrypted in some random ways that would take longer than five minutes to figure out, and the codes to access any of the rooms were impossible to figure out, as you had to overhear, see, or somehow uncover the codes from actual agents.

The classes honestly weren't that great either... well, sometimes. It was really hit or miss, as there were four classes that changed at a literal drop of a dime, as they could be in their informative class, and then out of nowhere, they were forced into a survival environment where they had to last as long as possible.

Of course, since they were all trainees in the program, none of them could last that long, as they were all pushed to the max, with the most annoying challenge being the dessert challenge, as it goes from hot enough to fry an egg to cold enough to instantly freeze a glass of water.

The last two challenges were fighting against some robots or other agents, and we were forced to fight against them while also trying to get higher scores on all the rankings, as who wouldn't want to see themselves improve... along with rubbing it in everyone else's face?

Of course, as agents, they had special weapons training where they were all taught the best ways to use anything and everything to their advantage, which, while it being Jake's favorite class, was still a massive pain. Do you have any idea how hard it is to turn an entire apartment room into a full-on weapons arsenal while having to beat at least one person with at least one item from the room or having to break apart and rebuild weapons.

After every day everyone would be in complete and utter pain, as their entire bodies were very sore and slightly broken, and if it weren't for all the high-tech gadgets S.H.I.E.L.D. or their own superpowers, it would be almost impossible to show up every day.

Which was probably for the best, as in just one week almost half of their entire group had begged and pleaded to be let go from the program, as the training was far too intense for them to handle. Sadly for them, Nick Fury wasn't letting them go.

Shockingly, the first person was the Black jaded tiger lady, as she apparently couldn't handle constantly working herself to the bone, with her and almost everyone having actually broken at least two bones a day for the entire week.

Today was no different than any of their previous training days except for how everyone was not woken up by their trainers but was instead woken up by a loud screeching noise that, even without having a symbiote, would have had the same effect.

Being forcibly woken up, Jake looks around groggily and hears someone cry out in pain... and it was a feminine voice. Slowly turning his head, Jake looked to his right and saw that it was the fire person and that while he and everyone assumed they were a man, they turned out to be some short-haired blond woman with a red streak in her hair.

Jake: "YOU'RE A GIRL!"

Fire, not so man: "Aw, crap."

Jake: "(Sees her try to engulf herself in flames) Hey! It's already too late! I know you're a woman, so we are not just going to ignore this!"

The woman sighs as she goes from being a black skeleton being on pure fire and reveals that she was either Black or just really tanned, and from the look of things, she didn't really enjoy having other people see how she really looked.

Jake: "(Punches the ground as hard as he could) Name! NOW!"

Fire not so man: "(Sighs) Lela... my name is Lela (stands up and grabs Jake by the throat and lifts him up effortlessly), and if you tell anyone my name, I will (hand starts burning, as do her eyes) make you pay!"

Jake: "(His white tentacles drag her away into the air, and he falls to the ground in a superhero landing pose) Well I don't really enjoy being threatened like that (lifts his head up and charges straight towards Lela)!"

Lela burns away Jake's tentacles that are quickly burnt away, as the white symbiote cannot handle either extreme heat or frost, as almost everything beyond room temperature and like ten or fifteen degrees higher than that would just destroy his white symbiote.

Jake only realized this when he first tried to use his white symbiote in the desert survival training area, and it made him wonder just how the heck his female opposite was planning on keeping her control once winter or possibly summer came around.

While this would have normally caused Jake some problems, as she was literally the worst opponent for him to face off against, that just made things more interesting, as if he could win against someone that should wipe the floor with him, then he could fight anyone!

Lela wasn't happy at being forced to do something against her will, but at the same time she was very happy to have someone to fight against as she burst into flame and became a pure black burnt-up skeleton as she got long hair made of pure flames.

Weirdly, it seems she seems somehow more feminine when she's just a skeleton engulfed in flames as she flicks her long fire hair for some reason as she sultrily walks her way over towards Jake before she finally starts running headfirst at Jake.

When the two clash, they shake the entire room with a violent thunder that makes everyone but Nick Fury and Agent Coulson jump, as they just chat over everything they see while sipping their differing coffees, which appear to be something black and light brown.

As both Jake and Lela skid across the ground, one by force and the other by melting the metal flooring. It wasn't that hard for both of them to stop themselves as Lela grabbed the floor and melted it enough that she managed to eventually grab hold; Jake, meanwhile, stabbed the floor as much as possible until he finally stopped moving.

Jake: "Well, that was... something (wipes blood off lips)."

Lela: "(Spits some fire into the floor) Begrudgingly, I also have to agree."

The two crack their necks and knuckles as they get ready to once again charge at one another, but before they could throw another punch, they were both stopped by a giant metal wall that quickly got melted and a giant dent side by side.

Nick Fury over speaker: "Alright, motherf!#$%'s, who told you to start busting each other's balls! Honestly, it's amazing how something that was supposed to be a team-based challenge turned into a motherf!#$% duel between our opposing recruits. Now get your rears in gear and actually start fighting the giant robot that's sitting in the corner."

The speakers rang for a bit as both Lela and Jake turned around and saw a giant robot who somehow seemed impatient as it got up with its wiring and startup sounds as it started rushing towards the two with its heavy footsteps shaking the room.

Both Lela and Jake look at one another and nod their heads as they rush over towards the giant robot as Lela tries to melt the giant robot's legs, all while Jake shoots his tentacles towards the ceiling and then twirls around as he turns himself into a giant slingshot bullet as he charges right into the robot's chest.

However, because Lela melted its legs before Jake's attack really even started, causing him to greatly miss his shot as he instead landed directly at the wall behind it, without waiting for a single second, Jake turned around and springboarded himself at the robot once more.

Forcing his tentacles towards the other end of the room, Jake launches himself right into the robot, which successfully managed to go through its chest this time; however, the robot was not going to go that easy, as it quickly repaired all the damage that both of them had done to it.

But before Jake hit anything, he used his tentacles and swung around the robot's face and landed right on its chest, and quickly activated his own firepower as he activated his rocket boots and used them on max level to melt whatever core it had, along with ripping its head off.

Agent Coulson: "(Sips his coffee for a long time) So sir... (takes another sip, this time very short) is this what you imagined they'd all be like?"

Nick Fury: "(Doesn't drink his coffee as he gently places it over a coaster and pulls out a small flask and takes a sip from it instead) No. They are not what I thought they'd be at all. But that's a good thing, as it means they're already learning and surviving."

Without warning he pulls out his gun and blows the brains of the person next to him, leaving almost everyone shocked as Coulson just claps his hands like he was Nick Fury's hype man before he grabs the body.

Nick Fury: "I told you to make sure that when hiring someone to look into everything from the day they were born to the very second they die!"

Once Coulson picked up the body, an old-school pager fell from his pockets, and while it was coded, everyone there knew the only people Nick Fury had told to kill on sight were any traitors to Project S.H.I.E.L.D. or anyone, for a fact associated with Hydra!

When Jake and Lela finished their task, they were put to sleep, and when they woke up, they were inside the kitchen eating meals that best suited them, which for Lela was something very spicy along with a bowl of charcoal, while Jake ate any and everything that had protein in it, which was mainly varying recipes of cooked chicken breast.

Deep inside the Helicarrier's most secret compartment, Coulson was placing the body in a machine while Nick Fury was looking through many holographic images of many different heroes, except these heroes all had some form of Hydra symbol on their bodies.

Nick Fury: "How long till the trainees are ready for their first mission?"

Phil Coulson: "(Grunts as he shoves the body in the machine before pressing a button as it starts whirring) Well, (rotates his shoulder) Well, I figure group A-1 has the best chance of completing a mission..."

Nick Fury: "You know I don't like you hiding things from me, Coulson!"

Phil Coulson: "But they are also the most likely to betray S.H.I.E.L.D. if they were to find something that might make their lives better or if Hydra gave them a better deal than the one we've already given them."

Nick Fury: "What about B-1?"

Phil Coulson: "(Face lights up) They're making great progress!"

Nick Fury: "Don't make me say it again. (Says this more like a threat than his name) Coulson!"

Phil Coulson: "But they're still just teenagers, sir, so most of the missions we can give them would be very limited in scope or appearance."

Nick Fury: "(Smiles as he punches the hologram image of Captain America) Send out team B-1 to investigate each of the targets of interest, all except for WS-X, whom I want you to send towards Zone W-24 with the most problematic agents in training from A-1."

Phil Coulson: "But sir? He's the biggest wild card for team B-1? How do you know he won't try and join them if they were to meet someone from Hydra? Aim? Or something even worse, like the private sector!?"

Nick Fury: "(Looks at the stuffed animal Jake gave him.) Because if that boy betrays us, then the world is truly dead, and all the things we fight for no longer exist."

Without saying another word, Nick Fury turns and walks off as he gets into a pod and jetsons below... only for him to start suddenly going up as the Helicarrier is actually nothing more than a submarine the size of Staten Island.

After making sure his little "task" was completed, Agent Coulson walked away and started writing up reports for all the different missions he was told to assign along with some fake ones for A-1, so they don't become jealous over the younger generation.
