Chapter 42: A Goddess’s Rude Awakening
The next morning, when my eyes fluttered open, I found myself warm in a dark room as someone held me tenderly from behind. Something silky smooth was on my arm, which rested on the bed, while my other limb was on the source of the pleasant sensation.
It was also pressed up against my body, leaving me sandwiched between the two unknown sources of warmth.
Oh… I’m naked.
A sharp, faint pain came from my lower abdomen when I moved slightly. My memory of the previous day was a blur, or perhaps it was my desire for it to be a feverish dream. The same blaze that had consumed my body radiated through me, yet to a lesser extent, as my mind wasn’t as muddled either.
Taking my free right hand, I placed it against my face, letting out a small groan from my lips. My entire body was sore like I had gone through the ringer with a bear.
What the heck happened to me?
The sudden noise that came from me caused a slight movement from the thing that was on my arm. It wasn’t long until I found myself staring at
“Eli?” I mumbled, recognizing those pure orbs that gazed at me constantly for the past weeks.
“Morning, sweetheart,” he nudged my arm with his head as everything refused to click.
“Morning?” I echoed, unable to tell what time it was due to the darkness of the room.
Though when I tried to figure out where I was, someone gripped me tighter from behind. They grumbled something incoherent, triggering a drop in my heart when I recognized the source of the voice ringing in my ears. In an instant, every one of my memories of what happened the day before snapped together, replaying every profanity and begging that had erupted out of me.
Oh… Crap… Crap! I’m so screwed!
My heart pounded loudly while I closed my eyes shut.
This can’t be real! No! Everything is just a dream that I can’t wake up from!
Instead of letting me dwell within the mess I had made, Eli slid out of the bed and opened the curtains to let the light come in, much to Loki’s annoyance. He hissed because of the sudden rush of brightness against his eyes, as the light also caused me to wince.
To remedy the sudden exposure, the vampire snuggled up to me as I was breaking down, feeling my eyes twitch.
It’s over. How much does Loki know? Would you be sleeping so peacefully if you knew the truth? Crap… Crap… I… My mark’s visible on the ends of my shoulder to you! There is no way you don’t know!
The vampire held me close to his chest as I could feel his face on my neck, allowing his breath to hit my skin. Eli didn’t say a thing about the mark that was visible to him when he slid back into bed.
I… need to get out of here and never come back.
On an impulse, I tried to make my escape, as my sudden movement caused him to hold on to me tighter before he drew me back into him.
Crap!
His eyes fluttered open as I was bare before him.
“Oh, you’re awake,” he murmured, yawning like any other day, while I tried to figure out how to worm my way out of this mess.
My thoughts were quickly muffled when he brushed his lips against the back of my neck, before licking it.
“Gods… you smell so heavenly. Knowing how you taste, I can barely keep to myself.” He breathed, prompting my heart to skip.
His fangs glide on my skin, leaving me quivering in anticipation. My body knew the type of ecstasy he induced in me, prompting me to crave it.
I tried to suppress the memories of the previous night.
How many times did you take care of me? Come to think of it, my body was pretty clean, too. Did you do that after I fell asleep? Argh… Damn it… How can I…
“W-what h-happened?” I stuttered to say, unable to think of anything else.
Loki hummed in response to my silly question, as his venom didn’t cause amnesia. Before I knew it, he turned my body to face him, as his arms caged me under him again. My cheeks were burning hot when I noticed he was also naked under the covers.
Usually, he went to sleep in baggy pants and a shirt, but nothing was covering him from the waist up.
The mark that bound us was so visible, too, along with other bruises, which I chose to ignore, knowing full well how they got there.
Surely, you saw my mark too, right? You’re not blind. Are you?
“I think you know what happened, Vivi.” Loki raised an eyebrow, smirking at me playfully.
A slight squeal left me when Eli slid past his back, dipping beside me again. My poor heart couldn’t handle anything anymore.
“B-but… T-This…” I trailed off when the snake caught my eye, the moment he slid under the sheets and onto my left leg.
“Hmm?” Loki hummed, tracing his fingers down my cheek, triggering me to glance at him and away from the intruding snake.
Why can’t one of my powers be reading minds? For a goddess who can tell the future, I surely don’t see much!
“If… I… Ahm… I’m sorry for putting you in this position.” I clasped my hands onto my chest, holding the sheets there.
I’m so screwed! Not only did I screw up the chance to get near him, I also… screwed my target which exposes me to… Argh! I can’t even think straight!
All my apology did was cause Loki to sigh heavily before rolling his eyes, leaving me tensed up where I was.
Why are you… No! I want you to yell at me! End this emotion once and for all, please! Don’t… make it get worse!
Instead of following my wishes, he bit his lip. “Okay.” Loki breathed, suddenly picking me up in his arms.
Another squeal left me as I clung onto him for dear life. Getting off the bed, he headed towards the bathroom, where Eli followed us close behind. I held on to the thin white blanket that covered my body while he strolled with me effortlessly.
“W-what are you d-doing?!” I stuttered, wrapping my arms around his neck, fearing a fall.
A silly thing.
His grip secured me to him so that I wasn’t going anywhere.
“We’re going to have a nice, warm shower together. Then I’m going to make love to you again since you need a reminder of what happened last night,” the crazy vampire informed, sitting me on the toilet.
Huh?! Eh?!
He opened the water to the tub, filling it with some familiar scents as the vanilla and cinnamon filled my senses again. My heart was too fast and loud, though, to even notice the water running.
D-Did you just say l-love? Surely... you meant fuck. Yes, I must’ve misheard!
“H-huh?!” I uttered out with a slight delay as my brain lagged behind everything.
Loki gazed at me from the outside of the large tub, shaking his head. Even though I thought he was naked, he was wearing different boxers from yesterday. I, on the other hand, was fully nude with the only cover being the sheets I had dragged with me.
Thanks to the lighting in the bathroom, I managed to figure out he had love bites over his chest and neck, too. They were in hard-to-hide places, and he had erased none of them.
Oh… man… Did I leave those there? When? How? Oh... right… I sucked on his pecs so hard last night.
My cheeks burned remembering how I towered over the vampire, trailing kisses down his chest and marking my territory. My hips bucked on him, finding the pleasure I desired as seeing him under me made me feel fulfilled, especially with his face warped in pleasure.
Those blue eyes…
Crap! Crap! Crap! Why did I do that?! Vivian! You’re a vixen! No one would believe you were a virgin after you ate him like that!
I could feel my own eyes twitch, unable to believe what I did to this boy in a frenzy. Even as my mind was troubled, my body yearned for him.
Ah… How many times did we do it?
It was hard for me to keep up anymore, as all the memories were overwhelming my poor heart.
“You heard me, Vivi. Unless you don’t want me in you, that is, but I think you still feel hot and heavy, especially since I couldn’t stop myself from biting you multiple times.” Loki answered, unaware of the war my mind was in.
Though it wasn’t long before he noticed where my gaze traveled, he smirked playfully again, fully aware of every mark I left on him the previous night. Unlike me, he had a straighter head when he allowed me to climb on him and screw him silly.
However, something had to be wrong with this vampire since there was no chance he didn’t see my mark last night.
I… show you everything and you still fill me to the brim. So… why am I here and not in a cage in some basement?
“Hah, are you admiring your handy work, sweetheart?” Loki teased, trailing his hand on his pecs as they were slightly swollen from how much I sucked on them the previous hours of the night.
Eh?!
I felt a pop in my brain before slumping over to the side when Eli caught me before I dropped to the floor.
My poor heart… It’s over—my poor everything.
“I think you broke her.” The snake hummed, making my eyes twitch.
Ah… I… I… This… Everything… How…?
“You think so?” Loki chuckled.
Oi! Enough! Don’t look like you’re enjoying this!
“W-Why…” I trailed off, biting my lip before tugging away from Eli and facing the vampire head-on. “Why are you being like this with me?! I forced you into this situation by making you drink my blood! Why are you being this nice to me?! I thought you hated women who did this! I… I… tainted you!”
In response to my emotions, my body gave off a hue as I noticed I wasn’t wearing the brooch.
Huh?!Where?
My eyes darted around the room, unable to find it, as somehow I still had the necklace that hid my divinity.
Where is it?!
Eli narrowed his eyes upon feeling the light energy increase that left me, while Loki did as well.
This is all messed up!
I wasn’t in control anymore.
“Okay, where to begin with this?” Loki sighed, closing the faucet before the water overflowed the tub.
Standing up from where he was, he came over to me as I felt my heart throbbing in my neck. It wanted to fly right out of me. However, this vampire was way too calm for him to be facing his greatest foe.
You must’ve… but since when?
