Chapter 64: Pursuing Sun Yuanjing
When Sun Yuanjing looked at Chen Dong again, his initial disdain was long gone.
'This punk who came out of nowhere is actually this strong. I watched his True Qi gather, and there was no Celestial Spirit Qi. That means he isn't above the level of a Grandmaster. Just as he expected, Chen Dong's gaze left him. His figure vanished, reappearing in an instant in front of Li Huiran.

Meanwhile, Sun Yuanjing had already leaped away, disappearing from the Li Manor.
Chen Dong didn't give chase immediately. Instead, he went to Li Qinghe and Xia Yi's side.
They were in mortal danger, hanging on by a single thread. Sun Yuanjing had left them alive, intending to use them to threaten and toy with Chen Dong. He never expected Chen Dong to be so fast that he was rescued before they could even be taken hostage.
Chen Dong quickly infused them with his True Qi to protect their hearts, then applied seven needles to each of them to keep them from dying.
He said to Li Huiran, "Watch them. Don't touch the Silver Needles, no matter what. I'm going to kill that old scoundrel, and I'll be back soon!"
Li Huiran wiped the tears from her face and nodded firmly.
Moving even faster than before, Chen Dong gave chase.
Not long after Chen Dong left, Li Jianwen arrived with a large group of bodyguards and Shen Gong.
Li Jianwen stared at the devastating scene, at Li Qinghe and Xia Yi, looking as if he'd been struck by lightning.
"Dad! Grandpa and Mom can still be saved! Chen Dong said he'll be right back."
Li Huiran's choked voice snapped Li Jianwen out of his stupor.
He hurriedly pulled out his phone and called for an ambulance. Li Qinghe and Xia Yi's injuries were too severe to delay even for a minute. Rather than wait for Chen Dong, it was better to get them to a hospital immediately.
Shen Gong also saw Lu Yongxiu lying in a pool of blood.
He slowly walked over and knelt beside Lu Yongxiu's corpse, resting his head against it. He couldn't believe it. His master, who could easily escape pursuit from the Military Suppression Department, had died here.
After a long moment, he picked up Lu Yongxiu's body. A cold, grim sneer crossed his face as he muttered to himself, "Now there's no one left to control me!"
He slowly walked over to Li Jianwen and said calmly, "Your Li Family did my master a kindness, and he has repaid it with his life. But that kindness was not extended to me. From this day forward, we owe each other nothing." With that, he carried Lu Yongxiu's body out of the Li Manor.
In the mountain forest, Sun Yuanjing bounded between the trees at incredible speed, though his figure was a ragged mess.
'That kid's strength definitely hasn't broken past the Grandmaster Realm. As long as I can get back to the Sun Family estate, he won't be able to do a thing to me!'
"Once I break through to the Celestial Spirit Qi Realm, I'll have my revenge for my arm today!" Sun Yuanjing muttered to himself, hatred flashing in his eyes.
"You might not get the chance!" a voice suddenly boomed in his ear.
Sun Yuanjing's pupils contracted, his expression one of pure horror.
'How is this possible? That kid actually caught up! My Realm is higher than his, I should be faster. How did he manage to catch me?'
Before he could think any further, a fierce blast of True Qi struck from behind. Alarmed, he hastily dodged.
He barely dodged the attack. BOOM! The large tree beside him crashed to the ground.
A large hole had been torn through his tattered robes.
Chen Dong's figure materialized a short distance away.
Fear filled Sun Yuanjing's face as he said hastily, "Wait, don't attack! We can talk!"
Chen Dong said coldly, "There's nothing to talk about. You will die here today!"
With that, Chen Dong's figure vanished once more.
Even Sun Yuanjing could only make out a blurry shape. 'With speed like that,' he thought, 'it's no wonder he caught up to me.'
'I can't win a fight, and I can't outrun him.'
Sun Yuanjing had never been in such a desperate situation. He immediately begged for his life, "Don't kill me! I'll give you this Divine Artifact!"
Chen Dong almost laughed. 'This was the Divine Artifact he himself had sold, and now this man was trying to bribe him with it.' Without the slightest hesitation, he thrust out a finger.

Chen Dong strolled closer, his expression one of utter indifference, as if looking down upon all of creation.
"The mere Sun Family is not enough to atone for your transgressions."
Sun Yuanjing's face went ashen. 'My transgressions?' he thought. 'All I did was attack a few people from the Li Family.' Regret flooded his heart. He, who was on the verge of breaking through the Grandmaster Realm, was going to die here simply because he had been in a rush to deal with the Li Family.
He couldn't accept it!
'If only I had waited until after my breakthrough, the outcome might have been completely different!'
Chen Dong showed no hesitation. He pointed a finger at Sun Yuanjing!
"Stay your hand!" a thunderous shout echoed from the distance.
