THE BOYS: The Wrong Main Character

Chapter 92 - 93 : Trap

Megumi silently watched his teacher and the strange man. He had no idea what was going on anymore, but one thing was certain.

She’s definitely up to something ridiculous again.

For some reason, he even felt a little pity for this guy. Anyone who ended up in Satomi’s sights rarely had an easy time.

"Well, Mark, from now on you have a job," Satomi said with a bright smile. "You’ll be teaching the three first-years at Jujutsu High."

"Huh?"

Both Mark and Megumi spoke at the same time.

Mark immediately pointed at himself. "No... no. When the hell did I agree to that?" He crossed his arms. "I hate working. What the hell am I supposed to teach them? How to slack off?"

No fucking way. I don’t want to stay anywhere near Yuji and Megumi. Those two are walking nukes. I don’t want to end up mentally scarred after babysitting them.

Satomi let out an exaggerated sigh before removing her glasses. "Won’t you do it for me? Pretty please?" She pretended to wipe away tears.

"Do you know how much work I have? Missions, reports, meetings with the higher-ups... I barely get any time to relax."

As she spoke, she slowly leaned toward him.

Mark, already familiar with her antics, immediately sidestepped.

Satomi had anticipated it. She smoothly matched his movement, closing the distance again until she was standing directly in front of him. She clasped both hands behind her back and leaned forward just enough that her soft figure lightly brushed against his arm.

"Won’t you help me?" she asked in an almost pleading voice. "I’m just a poor, overworked woman." She tilted her head with an innocent smile. "Pretty please?"

Mark’s brain froze.

...Say yes.

His common sense immediately slapped the thought away. Don’t be an idiot. This is obviously a trap.

He forced himself to look back into her bright blue eyes.

Fuck... who the hell changed this guy’s gender? If this had been the original male Gojo, he would’ve punched him away without a second thought.

"Pleeease..." Satomi whispered, leaning a little closer, her breath brushing lightly against his ear.

...Fuck this.

Mark clenched his fists, desperately trying to keep his composure.

A few meters away, Megumi silently watched the entire exchange before slowly turning his head in the opposite direction.

It was simply too much to watch a twenty-eight-year-old woman shamelessly weaponize cuteness just to get her way.

Mark’s mind was in complete chaos.

Don’t do it. She’s tricking you. Walk away while you still can.

Another voice argued back immediately. Look at her. She’s practically begging. How can you say no?

Idiot! That’s exactly what she wants!

Mark took one look at Satomi’s hopeful smile. Then another. He let out a defeated sigh.

"...Fine. I’ll do it."

Satomi blinked once before her face immediately lit up. "Really?"

"Yeah, yeah. But only because I don’t want to hear you complain every day."

A victorious grin spread across her face. "I knew you were a good person.

"No. You manipulated me."

"Details."

Before Mark could say another word, Satomi raised her hand, gave him a playful wink through her glasses, and blew him a dramatic flying kiss.

"Muah~"

Mark instinctively leaned back with a look of utter disbelief. "...Can you stop doing things that make people misunderstand?"

Satomi only laughed. "But your reaction is so much fun."

Mark covered his face with one hand. I got played. I knew it was a trap... and I still walked right into it.

A few meters away, Megumi let out a quiet sigh. Teacher... you’re impossible.

Even so, he respected Satomi. She had saved him more than once, and there was no questioning her strength or her knowledge of jujutsu.

When it came to being a sorcerer, she was someone worthy of admiration.

Her personality, however, was another matter entirely. Half the time she acted so carefree that it was impossible to tell what she was actually thinking, making her seem completely unserious despite being one of the strongest sorcerers alive.

"Then keep an eye on them and make sure they survive. Bye-bye~" Satomi said with a cheerful wave before disappearing.

Megumi turned toward Mark. "First time?"

Mark shrugged. "No. I’m usually the one pulling pranks on other people, not the one getting pranked." He let out a helpless sigh. "So yeah. First time being on the receiving side."

As he spoke, his gaze shifted toward the abandoned building. The Six Eyes instantly flooded his vision with information.

Through the walls he could clearly distinguish the cursed energy moving inside. Yuji and Nobara were fighting cursed spirits, and from what he could tell, neither was in any immediate danger.

"Your two new classmates are doing fine," Mark said casually.

Then he froze.

He looked down at his empty hands.

"...Wait."

His eyes widened. "...Shit. My sweets!"

Meanwhile, Satomi was already walking through the streets of Tokyo, happily carrying the paper bag. She smiled to herself and took another handcrafted sweet.

"Mmm..."

Throughout everything, she had quietly observed Mark. He wasn’t interested in power, authority, or politics.

Most of the time he only wanted to slack off, eat good food, and avoid work.

Occasionally he’d stare into empty space as though thinking about something far away, but aside from those moments, he was surprisingly straightforward. No hidden agenda. No suspicious ambitions.

Just a strange man who seemed perfectly content wasting his days eating sweets and avoiding responsibility.

"...He’s surprisingly clean," Satomi muttered with a small smile before taking another bite.
