The Evolution of the Weakest Ghoul

"Master..." Yen spoke as she knocked on the door of his room.

She, while talking with Hesa last night, heard when Ronan walked in, but it was a shock that he didn’t talk to them and went straight to sleep.

The door opened, showing Ronan, or as he looked now, Basha, looking at her.

"Yes, Yen... Come in," Ronan spoke , sitting on the bed as Yen narrowed her eyes.

Ronan seemed different.

"Master, so I spoke to Hesa... Not budding, but I think we just need to give her time. Even I still need some time to fully realize this is our life now," Yen spoke, as at some point she couldn’t look Ronan in the eyes.

She did promise to do anything Ronan wanted, but this was not something they couldn’t just jump into. She needed to think about it seriously.

"Oh, I understand. Let her take her time. You too, take your time. Everything is okay," Ronan spoke calmly.

Yen looked at Ronan. I mean, really? Won’t this affect his plan? Yen knew whatever made him talk to them about it now meant it was important. If they wasted time, what if he couldn’t later do it?

Ronan was probably waiting for the Mayor to leave and with him some Sovereign Realm experts that would attack the Orcs. If he missed the timing and the Mayor came back, then it was over, so she expected him to rush them, but it seemed like Ronan wasn’t in a hurry.

"Yen, you can leave. It is alright," Ronan said and smiled softly.

Yen paused to see if Ronan was faking it, but it seemed true. With no other choice, she stood up to leave the room. Only when she got to the door did Ronan speak.

"Yen... erm, wait..." Ronan’s voice was heard.

Ahh, I knew it... Master was just pretending to not be in a hurry... Yen thought with a smile.

"If Mya comes around, tell her to come into my room," Ronan said as Yen’s smile froze.

She grabbed the handle.

"Alright, Master." Yen smiled wildly, but her insides were burning.

So Master was still pretending? Plus, he wants Mya to be in the same room with him. What does that mean?

Don’t tell me Mya and Ronan were already... Well, she can’t say anything about it.

Yen left the room as Ronan frowned.

One of his Blood Servants was killed already. It seemed this city was not easy to conquer, at least not as easy as he thought it would be.

With no other choice, Ronan just had to wait for Mya.

It was not until afternoon that Mya arrived.

"Come in," Ronan spoke as Mya opened the door and entered. Inside was Ronan waiting.

"Oh, hi, Mya.have your seat," Ronan spoke as Mya blushed lightly.

Ever since she had been coming here, Ronan only allowed her in the living room, but today...

She was quite shocked when Yen told her Ronan wanted to meet her in his room.

Was it time? Would Ronan finally...

"So... is the Mayor still in the city?" Ronan got straight to business as he asked.

Hearing this, Mya had a faint expression of disappointment before she spoke.

"Ah... Tonight, he and the strongest Sovereign Realm experts will leave, so the city would be at its weakest period in the next few days, with the highest being at the Sovereign Two-Star," Mya explained as Ronan listened.

This was good news to him, but even Two-Star Sovereign Realm experts were not weak, and they were not small.

He had to be patient and also strike when he needed to.

Mya could only get so much information. His Blood Servants, at least the one he was able to get, would be the ones to assist him.

"Alright. Thank you so much, Mya... I really..." Ronan moved closer as he raised his hands.

Seeing Ronan’s movement, Mya’s body froze as her heartbeat accelerated as she watched Ronan’s hand touch her cheeks.

It felt so warm and calming. Her mind was filled with various thoughts, wondering what Ronan would do next.

"You can stay here for a while and relax before going back. You have done well." Ronan stood up as he said this, walking to his wardrobe and checking out the clothes he would wear today. Meanwhile, Mya sat there stunned.

Was she ugly? Or was her shape bad? She had been getting closer and closer with Ronan, expecting with her body and face that Ronan would make a move, but no matter how close they were, even with her chest touching him at times, he never seemed to cross that line, which was weird.

Today, when Yen told her to go to Ronan’s room, she thought they would finally do it, but who knew she would be disappointed.

Looking at his back, Mya sighed. It seemed those old maids lied to her. She wasn’t as beautiful as they said, and the lustful looks from the men were just them getting horny for anything in a skirt.

Meanwhile, Ronan thought of the vampire movies he had watched, weighing if he should dress like that for this next important occasion.

He couldn’t decide as he seriously searched around.

"But... am I... really ugly?" Looking at Ronan, who was "busy," Mya couldn’t help but ask.

Of course, as a Vampire and a Peak Transcendent Realm being, Ronan could hear her.

Looking down, Ronan recited the scriptures. Which man wouldn’t want to just devour her right now? But Ronan couldn’t.

That could be either Yen or Hesa. He still remembered the two women’s glare.

Finally, Ronan settled on a pair that would just fit nicely.

"Ah... Master Basha, I would take my leave now." Mya bowed as she said.

After close to an hour, she had come to terms that even in a room with them alone, Ronan didn’t seem to be interested in her.

Hearing this, Ronan beamed with joy. How torturous was this one-hour time, especially with the short skirt that Mya wore intentionally or not? She also made some movements that exposed her body.

So many times, Ronan wanted to just pounce on her, but finally, he survived the ordeal.

"Ah, Miss Mya, thanks once more for today." Ronan escorted her out with a relaxed expression, while Hesa and Yen decided to suddenly come to the living room as they loomed at the two.
